I could be having a brain fart, but I swear I read this somewhere...

I was thinking about using Ambush as a gap closer even in a magi NB. That empower buff is always useful
It is viable but a little too PVP oriented. I went DW/resto instead but generally speaking its a strong build -- just needs some mod for PVE.
As for the gap closer, I wonder if you actually need one with a magicka NB, eg siphon focus.

I agree; I just whipped out my glovebox calculator and it looks like leaving Teleport Strike unmorphed is still the way to go.WyldfireWyrm wrote: »That is fine for a while until you get the mage guild passive called "Might of the Guild", which grants Empower after any mage guild skill is cast. Then the only thing that Ambush has to offer is a short stun, which can be obtained from several other weapon lines and/or nightblade skills.

I looked at the site and it said coming soon for end game PVE. If you have a link to the final version do you mind posting? Thanks.

Saying that you can solo group challenges isn't a good metric for measuring the viability of builds, considering how easy it is to do the group challenges (source: I solo'd every single group challenge minus the Alik'r public dungeon one on my minimally optimized sorcerer as I went through each region).

Pve is easy anyways, if you can do public dungeon group challenges by yourself the build is fine for pve. It has decent damage and the survivability is fine with cloak and healing ward, even as a vamp.
As a sorc you only need to slot hardened ward to survive pve so its not fair to compair that to an entire NB build imo.
