Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

So, ZoS is getting rid of VR ranks. Bummer. I just found a reason to keep them.

the biggest problem is not really vr ranks its champion points that have no cap, which means who reaches 14 and grinds longest is strongest. It remove skill and all it promotes hugging grind spots so no one else can grind so you become god like.

This is adds a problem with pc transfers with 300 champion points on the xbox one. This also going to be problem people who buy the game late down the road.

The best thing is remove champion point system and just add number of points. So in the end it doesn't matter if he has 8 character that all V14 and been in pc transfer vs someone who just made one v14 that second. they both have the same amount of champion points.

    Jeezz...you guys craft a LOT for levelling..lol

I did it once at lvl 17 and once at v1 :/

I tend to get bored with the set combinations or the visuals. :p

Why craft new gear every 2 levels 1-50? Try every 10 levels.
I've been doing this since day 1 of playing. I just assumed it was a necessary course of action considering how fast enemies level up. Without the best armor, I figured I would be toast.

I suppose I could go every 4 or 6 levels, especially if I level up the armor with hemming.

I'll try this approach when I get to Grahtwood. If memory serves, I really didn't like this area much. Stupid Hoarvors.

You could go without crafting anything. up to vr ranks i just use what i find. The only reason i see for crafting before vr is running in pvp.

I hope they keep the levels and just call them level 65 (with rank16) and make the cap level 100.

I agree that leveling post-50 is far more enjoyable, I don't need to care about getting too much experience points and eventually being over-leveled for the zone and maybe the next.

I might be a minority on this but I feel that even without any Exp buffs at all, you still gain a bit too much Exp from everything. I really dislike being over-leveled for the zone I'm questing in, especially when I'm the type of person that will do absolutely everything in a zone and move on. As a way to hinder my own Exp gain, I actually avoided as many mobs as possible on my way to 50 when I realised that I was going to become too far ahead of the next zone and then the zone after. I done this because I wanted the battles I encounter to remain somewhat challenging and have some possible loot.

I can't wait until people realize whatever replaces Vet ranks is just as big of a grind.

The most annoying part of normal leveling past 50 would be your gear going stale on you.

Cap the gear at level 50, let the player keep leveling? Maybe?

I really dont understand arguements about CPs! Its like saying, that boxer won just because he trained 2x more then the other fighter! If you put more time in something then the other guy, you should be better at it then him, giving 10-20% margin on talent.
    I have 130cps.

    Well, drop the bad analogy.

The vast majority of high level CP guys are grinders. Round and round in circles for hours/days on end for the fastest CP gain. Has nothing to do with skill or training.

It is more like government workers who put "time in grade" and after a certain amount of time get a "time in grade" raise, because they are entitled to it.

Time put in doesn't equal skill, just stat improvements.

Anyone claiming the contrary is probably not very skilled, those who are skilled (and there are some, but few) don't need to come to the forum and claim to be skilled, because they put in the "time in grade".

Then they shouldn't be an issue since they are so "unskilled" case closed.
