So what did you all do with your crowns?

Imperial City is coming at the end of August, and it will cost 2500 crowns. Now there are a lot of threads out there debating if it should be free or not. This is not one of those threads. If I can instead turn your focus to those crowns you received when the game went B2P.

That was 500 for owning the game, 100 per past subbed month, and 1500 for any remaining months. Now after a guar mount, two pets and a costume on sale, I'm sitting on 2400 crowns left.

Whatever, that's on me. What I want to know now is how the rest of you faired?

I upgraded to Imperial Edition, bought a guar mount and pet, two horses and a costume when they went on sale. I still have some crowns left, but not enough for the IC.

In a weak moment, I bought the blacksmith costume. :|

Still 2700 Crowns left, but will probably keep those for Orsinium.

I saved it for content expansions instead of buying blue horses.

I bought the game in February 2015, so I got 500 for owning the game, 100 for February and 1,500 for the part of my free month that overran into March. 2,100 in total.

I bought a horse, the panther pet, and the bantam and pony guars (or is the plural guar?) when they were on sale. But then I got another 5,500 crowns and bought the palomino (for 900) so I have 4,700 left over.

I don't know if they'll bring out anything I want between now and the IC being released, but for now I have more than enough crowns to buy it if I want to. I won't know that until I've tried it on the PTS however.

I bought the Knight and Scout packs for the Covenant armors, and saved the rest. I have around 9000 Crowns in store, so even if I cannot pay for my subscription I can still purchase a few DLCs and perhaps a certain Nedic costume...

I bought some Crowns to buy a horse. Then ZoS released the Senche-Lioness, so I bought more crowns to get it. Thinking ahead, I bought even more Crowns because they're going to release the Senche-Tiger, right? (Please?).

I check the CS daily hoping there will be things to buy. I just happened to notice saddlebags on my mount. I didn't know we got perks like this for training. That was neat.

I know some people don't stop to take the time to enjoy the view, but I'd pay for an emote that props up a tent and lets me sit in front of a small fire.

I miss the Khajiit merchants in Skyrim. I loved the scene right outside Riften. Gorgeous, especially at sunset.

I got 2000 crowns and don't know how to spend them "wisely".. any ideas?

I obviously wanted the armors, but then I found out that it's really just a costume as they don't give any extra resistance points.

The companions, they look cool too but they don't participate in battles, or do they?

    Any answers would be appreciated!

I'd say you are sitting in a nice position. If you can afford it and want to, you could subscribe for a month when IC comes out. You not only get to try it, but if you end up liking it you can buy it with the 3500 crowns you would then have, and still have 1000 crowns saved for future use. If you don't like IC, you would have 3500 crowns to (probably) be able to afford the next DLC with.

Just got Premium and I had 2k crowns, but then spent it on a lioness mount. Loving her so much!
Now I only have 200 crowns though, was planning on getting the panther, but I'm short 500 crowns.
I'll just have to wait for my allowance next month! I just hope the panther won't be removed by then.

I saved and subbed off and on, mainly for the EXP bonus, but also because I was hopeful that something would have been released earlier than now, or that the crown store might actually have something good in it...

I have a lot of crowns sitting there doing nothing.

Mounts and costumes are just cosmetic and pets do not attack anything. These are about how you want to look in the game.

Potions, food, motifs, scrolls, ect can all be found or done another way in game, sometimes better. You would avoid these unless you have extra crowns to burn and not the time to get these in game.

First DLC is 2500 crowns, and future DLC may cost something similar.

I bought sub for the month I have 1300 left. I bought the 50% exp bonus plus my 10% exp bonus. for a total of 10 hrs. at 60 % exp bonus ... I also bought the clouded cat and my panther.. im all set. I will be buying the electric horse though when it arrives. I plan on playing with my Subscription. I think its worth it in the long run..
I just work one hour of overtime at work and boom paid for my dlc.
So that way I can keep it permanently. Plus keep my +10% gold and 10% exp with 1500 crown to boot.

I joined after it went B2P so I only got 500. Spent 400 on a pet (its like having money in your pocket, it wants to be spent), but hey, I still have that 100 saved.

Has something worth buying been put in the crown store yet? All I've seen so far are recolored mounts, and costumes Zen thought they should put together instead of us.

I really hope they don't release this in the Crown Store, as this was a loyalty reward to all of us PC players that had subbed since the PC launch up to the time it went B2P.

If they make it limited-time only and charge a significantly higher price for it, then maybe. But it would be such a slap in the face for those of us who received it as a reward for subscribing to the game since launch on PC. I'm now on Xbox, and would hate to see some newbie able to ride around on one just like me for only 2500 Crowns.

Just my opinion - ZOS will do whatever they want.

It was actually possible for people who hadn't subbed the entire time to get it by buying time cards to add subscription time to their account ready for when it came out. This worked even if you'd just bought the game, if you got a full year's worth of sub time (approximate cost $300) you got the tiger.

So maybe they could bring it back, but charge $300 for it. :D

(Disclaimer: no, this is obviously not a serious suggestion.)
