I've heard a lot that this update has been moved to September but no one has posted proof of it, is it just a rumor or did I miss something?

But I heard that got delayed and now it's being released to PC in September, just curious if this is a rumor going around

You put a lot of weight into rumour. The official details for the Imperial City release have not changed.

Don't forget that the pc/mar release and the console one don't share the same release dates. Perhaps you have see the console release date.

That's because the majority of the people going into IC on the PTS aren't there to test. They are only testing out their ganking abilities in the districts and trying to find new exploits so they can still be OP when it comes out.

@ZOS should have have implemented two phases of IC for adequate testing. One week with PVP turned on and another week with it turned off. Then everyone would have been able to focus on testing the update.

These gankers aren't helping anyone but themselves with this. It's going to get pushed to live with a ton of bugs that will take months to get resolved.

@ZOS needs to start banning people that use exploits. They can query these and find them. They should also give people one chance to stop using it. After someone reports them with it, ZOS should verify it and contact that person that they have 48 hrs to remove the exploit. If it's still there after that, they are banned....

The patch doesn't hit PTS early enough for a lot of bugs to be fixed. It's been the same way with every major update - many more bugs are logged before the short interval on PTS is up and remain unfixed months after the actual update.

As for the exploits, ZOS just needs to actually fix them in appropriate amounts of time. Sure they can take a tough stance against them (they won't...), but fixing them removes the problem altogether.

Hey everyone. Just to set everyone's minds at ease, we can confirm we're still on track to release the Imperial City DLC on August 31 for PC/Mac (September 15 for Xbox One, September 16 for PlayStation 4).

As Kloud noted, IC desperately needs to be delayed. The game is very buggy right now and even bugs that have been confirmed have no ETA for being fixed. The last update broke several new things as well and failed to fix many others. While the dev team is hard at work trying to release IC the amount of work required seems far more than they can handle. The PC version needs to be pushed back 2 weeks to Sept. 14th. If this means consoles need to be pushed back as well then so be it (most aren't vr14 anyway).

Would rather wait for a polished release, pretty sure most of us would as well.
