We will still find effective ways to tank, no matter what changes they implement.
Oh noes another one has figured out the ZOS/DPS Master Race conspiracy.
@MaximusDargus is ruining our master plan!

Damned if I'm gonna drag loser slobs through dungeons anymore. All they are doing is changing out a minor issue for a larger one. "500 Dps and 20 healers LF1M Tank", the new standard chat for faction hubs. It sucks that ZOS broke the game with soft cap removal and CP abuse and now we have to be punished for their mess up.
This Nerf may stir others away from Tanking but I will always be a Tank even if I was to be the last Tank in the entire game. This change is absurd and extreme and what happened to choosing the way we want to play and why do YOU ZOS listen to a minority of people and NOT THE COMMUNITY. Tanking is a role for a REASON which is to control mobs and to take the damage for the group. Even if this thread gets ignored and buried beneath hundreds of other Threads I WILL NOT STOP TANKING but it isn't fair for other players who are Tanks or just starting as Tanks. What gives people like Eric Wrobel and the elitist DPS the right to say L2P how about you learn to play and be a part of this community and not against it.

- Like Eric has said a few times, we're pretty happy with the change - there might be some tweaks, but overall this is something we feel is a really good thing for the long term health of the game.

so every tank in ESO is now obligated to equip himself with those two piece of gear that will allow him to meet ZOS standards:
As soon as one of the tanks flinches and shows a little bit of frown ZOS will for sure find another way to "make us happy, not bored and make tanking more attractive" with wonderful morale boosters to tanking like for example "shield will break with every heavy attack so tanking is more interactive now that will require tank to carry 50 shields in backpack (without being able to swap them in combat)" or maybe "after taking damage tank will not regenerate health for 5 seconds" or maybe something along the lines of "heavy armor and sword and board will now reduce speed by 75%" so tanking will be so fun and tactical with tanks having to pick their own special spot (from which they wont be able to move a bit, will have to avoid damage and while watching dropping stamina bar, prepare to die).

People will still need Tanks and us Tanks will need to stick together to resist this change.

No! I call for all tanks to go on strike! Let our masters hear our voices.

Only change is it makes you go more towards a stamina build than a magicka build which is fine since there are 2 stamina taunts and even stamina heals. It more effects the top dsa groups that run 3 dps and a tank/healer, because they will need to run a good bit more stam so their heals will hit for less and their ability to sustain heavy healing will be cut down as well. Also, I think the change actually makes tanks more important than before. Since it also stops dps from regening stam and most dps will have no block cost or any points into stam/ stam available to block with so if 2-3 mobs are beating on them they will go out of stam very quickly and most likely die. However, if the tank picks up all the mobs and the dps are free to do what they do the only person in risk of dying is the tank and with battle roar/ repentance and spear shards from the healer their stam management should be fine.
