Who came up with the gear templates get? It's horrible.

Even going through the trouble of making VR14 alts so I can match coffer gear, I still can't mix any realistic sets.

Ravaging set lacks pieces. Hunding's Rage set lacks pieces.

Trails gear seems to be selected at random. No twice fanged serpent but Yokeda is included.

This list goes on and on...

For example, there are 7 armor slots, so why shouldn't I be able to use a 5 piece Hunding's Rage plus 2 monster pieces?

Well I can't because they only included 5 HR pieces and one is the shoulders. Why is there no HR legs? Why leave that out?

Why don't template characters have trait research unlocked so we can craft? Why limit the testing in this way?

Why do the VR16 vampire books only teach you vampirism to rank 1? What's the point?

I've always been confused at what, if any, logic was behind the template coffers, but it's now worse than ever.

Honestly, it's like they go out of their way to make it restricted and frustrating.

You're meant to use all of what's in each bag is my guess. Hundings + ravager is super popular for stam builds. The cyro light + adroit + martial is popular for magika builds, etc. The monster helms are just a side thing if you wanna set something up with them, I guess

Yeah these were my thoughts. It is nice getting the new sets to try.

Well, I guess I'm the only one. Oh well.

I find trying the new sets WITHOUT being able to pair them with *anything* is pretty limiting.

I don't know of anything in the real world that's tested this way. Oh well.

The tanking setup was the most atrocious @olemanwinter .

It made me concerned that those who designed those boxes are really out of touch with tanking.

This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

It's the PTS. They gave you gear they want you to test

Uhuh. That much is clear. Doesn't make it smart.

Just because something is "on purpose" doesn't make it "well thought out".

One could test his seat belt by running head on into a light pole....on purpose. But probably not wise.

Because ZOS holds us to the same standard as their inept Q&A people. Players that just light and heavy attack, while standing still looking at their keyboard for the next button to press, while wearing a mismatch of green gear that they put zero thought into, and just looted from a chest or something.

I don't understand why this forum allows people who are ignored to still reply directly to the person ignoring. The result of ignoring someone is that they get unmitigated, unrestrained ability to write anything about you(or to you) that they want without any rebuttal.

If you're ignoring someone (like the person above this post) then the system shouldn't allow them to respond DIRECTLY to you because you obviously can't respond.

The post above this could say anything, but I won't unignore to find out. Silly system.

He isn't responding to you, he's addressing the thread subject. Your opinion about him shouldn't prevent him from posting in any thread you happened to start or post in, it would be absurd. However, I imagine it does block his PMs (that is direct response to you). Hard to say for sure because this forum has abysmally poor settings management.

Yup... Not all posts in a thread are a response to the OP...
    It's a discussion that's open to anyone

I'm not suggesting someone should be barred from posting in a thread. I'm suggesting that if you block someone because of their responses to you....they shouldn't be able to READ YOUR POSTS, because then they can continue to respond against them and they actually win by you blocking them because you can't rebut them.
