hush! We just got the bestest change to Thundering Presence! A 4 second speed buff and increased dmg only for 4 seconds, meaning every 4s we get to smash hotkey for more stam dumping! Whereas the noobs running Boundless Storm get penalized with a 7.5s buff, noobs! /sarcasm Other than Streak do we even use Magicka? I think I know what morph I'm gonna stick with...I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...0 -

This seems about right unfortunately. Going to test the new morph in a bit. But it seems the most consequential change was that the magicka version got buffed.Mordimus - Stam Sorc0 -
Stikato✭✭✭✭✭I loaded up decently with weapon power and stamina on the PTS v16 template.
22.7k stam, 2921 weapon damage (with Rally), 65 points in Mighty ( <-- I should have tested if that affected the damage)
Damage during the first 4 seconds of Thundering is 1.1k regular, 1.7k crit, vs the zombies south of BRK. The speed boost is OK, the problem is that it is commonly used at the same time as Sprinting. This will drain Stam in a hurry with Thundering, while it still synergizes perfectly with Boundless.
It's a stamina drain as many predicted. I find myself missing Boundless already. One of the only things I liked about Thundering is that the armor buff lasted 23 seconds, which I liked to pair with Evasion. They even took that away and gave that duration to Boundless.
Early indications is that this buff is a fail.

Are you using the Warrior mundus?

Thundering Presence in PvP with 2900 Weapon Damage
Look at the inconsistent damage rofl. At best it did 1200 on crit, lowest I have seen is around 240ish so far.
Damage on PTS with less than 3k weapon power is absolutely horrible. I got a 5.9k crit with Wrecking Blow and that is just garbage. They should make WB instant if they are going to keep damage this low. Thanks for complaining people!I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...1 -

✭I use boundless simply because it is a stamina dump.
Regardless 2.1.1 did bring nothing to stam sorc and we are sill in the same desolate state we were before.Jo'Khaljor1 -

✭✭✭✭Yep, pretty much nothing changed but stam sorcs will use the magicka version.
What is really irritating is that they willfully made this change and tried to tread a fine line to not making the skill too good. Because you know - you dont want to accidentally overbuff stam sorcs.
@ZOS please hire people from the community or ask for volunteers.0
