Howl of Agony/Despair - WW Skill -- Why is it reflectable?

Why is it reflectable? I think because of its 10m range it is classified as a ranged attack (Which it clearly should NOT be?)...change it to 8m so it is classified as melee skill

If I am not mistaken the skill is a "Sound Wave" it is not a projectile or spell and therefore should not be reflectable.

    Ranged projectile = wings <3 you

    Making it unreflectable would be a nice buff to WW, but i dont think its THAT important, since only DKs have access to a physical reflect.

    It is some kind of a Sound Wave, why should Refl scales reflect a Sound wave`>.>

    To be fair, there are a lot of DKs around. Also, if scales work, likely defensive stance will to? That means anyone with sword n board too.

    Defensive Stance does not reflect stamina abilities, only magicka. Same as elipse or Ball of Lightning.

    The only ability that reflects stam projectiles is Scales

    trapping webs.....reflected(you are getting hit with....WEBS), back in the day certain melee skills were reflected (ROFL), meteors......reflected (this one makes ZERO sense), the long list of things that are reflected is just insane.....

    Force shock/crushing shock..... all three hits reflected but only count as 1 reflect....... If one is getting reflected the other two should hit

    @ZOS_RichLambert any plans to make it so force shock/crushing shock actually hits flappy flaps? I mean if all three parts of that spell are being reflected but it only counts as ONE reflect, though there are THREE "beams" (not projectiles) hitting the defender, how does it make sense to have all three be reflected and count as one reflect vs having ONE reflect and two hit them....... I think it is this type of stuff that is driving people crazy, they just make no sense

    No, it shouldn't, they specifically made it count as one. It was in the patch notes of 1.6

    It originally counted as three hits, and consumed 3 reflect charges, but got later changed to only count as 1 reflect, so it is a safe bet that a single crushing shock only consuming a single reflect is intended and won't be changed.

    Anything that flies through the air is considered a projectile. If you don't like reflect then pick up a sword, or your own reflect, or dodge them etc..

    Well anyway, on topic, that *** Howl should def not be reflected....if it does then unstable core should do it too...


    I do not see why Refl Scales wors and Unstable core in some occasion does not work....

    Yeah... I wouldn't expect it to be reflected, but I think you're right about the 10m range making it reflectable. I guess the plus side is.. it has a 10m range.

    Unless they change it, I'll just keep it in mind on my WW and use more light attacks/fear/pounce etc when fighting a DK using reflect.

    Your argument is science for a Werewolf skill! Sound waves can be blocked, diverted and wait for it..reflected. How do you think bats get around without splatting into trees or submarines navigate. Just saying.

    Honestly I think the issue with one class being able to reflect one ability from the werewolf is not that big of an issue. Many ultimates have at least one hard counter to them, blocking, bashing, moving out of aoe. There are ways around the dks flappy as a werewolf.

    The real improvement I would like to see to werewolf is some sort of hard mitigation, with the rolldoge, block, and heal nerf werewolf survivability pretty low still.
