Character Armory?

Hello. I imagine this has been suggested and asked before, but I'll say it anyway!

Do you think in the future, we'll be able to look up each others characters online?

Example: On PC/Mac, you'd be able to search individual character names(?) or one whole account that shows all their characters, and on PS4 & Xbox, you'd search the players gamer tag to see all of their characters too, to view what armour and stats they have, etc

Why?
Well, why not? it would be interesting to see characters looks (you could choose a screenshot of your character) and what gear you/they are wearing, and stats like health, stam, magicka, etc.

Hmm ... I like the idea of showing off "your" character but with all the cookie cutter builds and copy cats this would cause alot of greifing of players stealing ideas and builds from others. Like I want to show off my own 2H tank build and show that you don't need a shield to tank but I worked hours on it and spent hours studying and looking at what skills and gear would fit in and I achieved my goal and I want to show it but I don't want some one stealing it and say how "they made it and it's there original idea."

Not only no, but hell no. No inspection either, there's already enough elitist **** in this game as it is.

Now, a personal armory where you can view your own characters, that would be handy.

Hmm okay guys, I understand. I didn't really think it through properly anyway.. Yeah it does cause elitism like on WoW, and people do copy builds so easily and such so yeah.

If anything, I loathe gear levels. The game should be just about enjoying the content itself, not about how many times you can run on the hamster wheel, over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

There isn't even an in-game inspection, so I doubt this would ever happen.

When I first started ESO, not being able to see other people's gear really bothered me. I was so used to WoW where gear meant results. Now I've gotten to the point where I really could care less what someone else wears as long as they know what they're doing and can hold their own. So many different builds are viable, so as long as they have the skill they should be fine. If I'm really curious, I'll ask.

Just a couple of suggestions if you think you have an awesome build. Put it on Tamriel Foundry and/or make a You Tube vid.
Many of our best Theorycrafters have done that.

It sounds cute, I can use this information to my advantage whenever I take in a random from zonechat for a pledge. I don't mind helping out low levels or less experienced players, but some players have very selfish builds that are useless in group play - I would like to avoid those.

My no no list would be:
*Any role beside tank having "healing recieved" bonus on their armor.
*v14 dps with less than 7 attribute points spent in health.
*v14 tank with all attributes spent in health - no resource management? Really?
*v14 vampires
*v14 who slots Warewolf ultimate on their bars.
*v14 tanks that don't have melee and ranged taunt slotted.
*v14 Healers that have below 16k health with food buff. - Shields have casting time. I have healed through all pledges with 13k health maximum, but it was right after 1.6 patch. I warned everyone, but my friends and guild insisted on me healing them. I had to slot and use shields. It is a great disadvantage not being able to take a single blow on the health.
*v10-v14 Dps with no AoE skills slotted. - if you haven't figured out by this level, that AoE is good, then you are probably a lost cause.
*v10-v14 Dps who have spent all their attribute points into health. Your damage is lower than the healer and the tank, show some consideration before you join a group as dps-role.
*Zonechat guild advertizer that have a very bad build and is low level. My guess would be the person is new to the game, doesn't have enough experience to run a guild good, and will need a great deal of support before the guild succeeds at anything. There are already good running guilds out there I could join instead, and the newcommer could do the same, instead of creating their own only to see it fail.
