Console: Can the language be set independently of the console locale?

Now I am worried! I was able to start the game and get to the server selection and the game is in German!! That's probably because my region is set to Germany. That would be a disaster if I can't set the game language independent of the console locale. I can't navigate further now since the game is still downloading.
To those of you who are already playing: Is it possible to set the game language once I get past the server selection?
EDIT: I am playing on XBox and the XBox does not allow to set the language independently of the region.

Because if there isn't, I might have to change my region prior to associating my xbox account with my eso account. I don't want to run a risk of having my transferred characters stuck in the ether somewhere.0 -

Sure you can, but I can't set the region to Germany and the language to English, sadly.0 -

Yes you can i mines set to england and i just changed it to german and it has every language on earth0
