Yet. I believe it's coming. It's strange how different the communities are on console compared to PC. The community on PC is intelligent, competitive and somewhat mature but when I go on console I feel transported back to Halo 3.
Read my share of conversations on pc that were far from mature. Thank goodness we do not have voice chat.
Still...just because it's available, will there be a mass migration away from text and other voice options?

That said, I prefer a mature group, not just for the discussions, but for the tactics... and recognition of 80's movie references.
"shall we play a game?"

Normally I wouldn't have a problem with that - but the thing about kids is that a lot of them are constantly talking and the high pitched voice doesn't help. I've had to block quite a few in PVP after they refused to clear the chat when crown told them to. Why are they allowed to play when the game has a rating of mature?
I've ran into a couple of really young kids while I was playing. While I don't care that their parents are letting them play (it's not the worst game they could be playing realistically), I just can't fathom as to why parents are letting them have a headset on and listening to chat. The absolute garbage said in area chat, while amusing to me most of the times, should not be something kids are exposed to. Especially when it gets creepy. If the kids were monitored, sure, whatever. Let them talk to people. But unmonitored chat? No way.

Let me guess, home schooled right? Anyone that spent time around his piers at 11 years old knows that game chat is like tea time with the queen compared to a group of 11 year old boys with no adults in ear shot.
Did you parents tape a walkie talkie to your head whenever you left their side or did you have one of those leashes strapped around you 24/7?
I was guessing Tron or WarGames. Now I feel ashamed that I had to ask Google for which one was right...QuebraRegra wrote: »kids have a right to play, I get that....

That's why I play in off peak hours. I was stalked by a naked lion in Vulhel Guard the other night and had no option but to jump, summon my mount or run, though he followed me all over the area by the manor/bank. If I stopped to call up a window he was either running me through with his big sword or doing inappropriate things behind my back. I turn off chat and had no mic near anyway. I assume it was some juvenile male trying to make himself important on my statuesque altmer. I kind of resent having to go hide to log out but it is not uncommon to be attacked by players anytime I log in.
