I'm probably beating a dying (not dead yet) horse by petitioning this, but please consider changing the duration of this ability from 10 seconds to 20 seconds. It's just downright cumbersome now and I really don't think many NBs are going to continue using it if it remains how it is. Thanks!

    They said they are going to make one of the morphs a toggle.

    That still wouldn't do the ability justice, because that will still require it to be on both bars to even be remotely better. They might as well not change the ability at all and keep the debuff as well if they're going that route. If they want to improve the ability, don't nook vomit, keep the improvements made to the ability and just tweak it. The point was to make it an ability that only takes up one slot, so they should stick to their guns and make it work.

    It was kind of a throwaway comment in the eso live, but I think I remember Mr. We over saying that the toggle would be the same it is on live. I assume that means the same %'s for restore and damage reduction. Subject to change as per usual...

    Unless the temp buff is 20+ seconds with a very low cost and/or gives some extra offensive or utilitarian bonus I'll sacrifice the extra slot and use the toggle, even as more of a caster than a tank.

    IMO most buffs are too short, like Combat prayer etc, 8 seconds is way too short for any buffs.

    Can anyone confirm when we'll see the updated changes on the PTS? I suspect it will be when they do the character copy for the EU server, but they haven't announced the date, have they? I really want to see what adjustments were ultimately made to siphoning attacks (and racials), and whether or not we will still need to ask for changes before things go live…

    Completely agree! I came from an MMO, that I played for over seven years, where a typical buff lasted 20 minutes, a strong buff lasted five minutes, and stuns lasted eight seconds.

    This type of system had its own set of problems of course; the game also allowed many skills on your skill bars at the same time, something ESO is avoiding.

    I think I can see the reasoning for the short durations on buffs and the limiting of skill slots, but there's definitely a point where casting something every 8, 10, 20 seconds is just extremely annoying, especially during extended dungeons/PVP. I'd rather advantages be determined by a players skill and build, rather than extreme micro management to ensure you always have that crucial 8% extra damage or whatever.

    Aye, same here SturgeHammer. I'm all for the health return, and to be able to have that between weapons would be nice.

    Leeching Strikes being the toggle would be the biggest "Screw You" to NB tanks, IMO.

    Leeching Strikes - Toggle, but with debuff reapplied (clear tanking option)
    Siphoning Attacks - 15 second duration without debuff (clear dps option)

    Thank you, ZOS... I think most people can live with this. I appreciate the extra 5 seconds on the duration. You've certainly heard us :+1:

    Has it been reflected on the PTS? I checked after the latest update and the duration is still 10 secs on the Siphoning Attacks morph.
