Then again I go for spell damage instead of cost reduction so my healing bar runs at like 2900 spell damage with Power Surge.
Can you control the Deadroth like Sorc pets? And do Deadric Prey and Empowered Ward buff it's damage?
I know anything that is classified as "pet" triggers Necropotence, but they still behave differently than the Sorc pets usually.
About the other sets:
Bogdan I find useful for my Sorc healer, undaunted sets don't waste set bonuses, and as long as I don't have so much CP to simply skip hp bonuses, a health bonus is as useful as a magicka bonus.
From my experience with Engine Guardian, it would seem to me that the procs get "queued" somehow as they often appear instantly when the last one expires. I suppose whatever exactly happens, works the same for Nerien'eth.

With the nerfs to the Necropotence set, if you have 1 pet currently out the deadroth will not give you any additional increase in max magicka. The set will also not proc against any shield that absorbs magic dmg and once procced it can be cc and stunned just like a sorcs atro can be.
