Is it intended, that the Maw of the Infernal Set can't crit ?

Was wondering about this. Other offensive Undaunted sets can crit, the Daedroth can't crit sadly.
Anyone knows, if this is a bug and if it's getting fixed ? :)

I also tested it in dungeons and compared some dps. Nerien'Eths sets procs a lot, like every 4 seconds or so if I spam light attack+ Force shock and hits for 9,2k if it crits. As soon as one crystal exploded, the next one is on its way. This set provides pretty strong dps in my tests.
Valkyn got nerfed as it seems and doesn't proc so often, because I don't have many DoT options. It still offers decent dps, would be much more for Dragonknights I suppose because it procs more often.

The Maw of the Infernal however only procced 1 time during the entire boss fight ( was a 8:39 minutes fight) and gave me no dps increase. In fact, my dps was higher without it because I have to sacrifise 2 spell damage traits to use the Maw of the Infernal. I don't think, it would change at all even if the Daedroth would crit.

So: Nerien procs every few seconds and hits for 5,6-to 9,2 k for me and the Daedroth procs only 1 time in an entire fight and spent his time following mobs around or getting cced at the end :D

My guess would be that with every raise of the lvlcap they will buff two new undaunted sets that nobody used before.
    2.1 nerien + mephala
2.2 daedroth + that heal thing from elden hollow maybe?

They increased the damage of the Daedroth in the first patch. But that didn't really help  it procs too rarely, he can't crit and he just behaves too stupid and never really manages to bump out some serious damage. Maybe I fail to see the sense behind this set ? It obviously is not meant to be a damage set. What else could be ? :D

Nerien rocks in 1.7. It's so strong
I was thinking about this Elden Hollow set. But around 700 heal every 1 second doesn't seem very good to me. Probably in trials where everyone is at the same spot. But is 700 health per second really necessary if the healers just spam Grand Healing ? I don't think this will safe you

^^ Bogdan's (ELden Hallow set) isn't very good.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

Ah yeees, Bodgan was his name ;)
Would be quite usefull as a Non-Templar healer, if it could proc several times and allies would actually stand inside of it. But we all know DDs when the're beginning to panic :D running around, rolling around and jumping.

Bogdan works pretty good for me on my Sorc healer.

Then again I go for spell damage instead of cost reduction so my healing bar runs at like 2900 spell damage with Power Surge.

Hm, I'm running 5 pieces healer and 5 pieces Twice Born star as a Sorcerer healer. If I take the Bodgan thing, I would have to sacrifise either the Ritual stone, which is 15% less healing done or around 400 Magicka regen (Atronach)

Can you control the Deadroth like Sorc pets? And do Deadric Prey and Empowered Ward buff it's damage?
I know anything that is classified as "pet" triggers Necropotence, but they still behave differently than the Sorc pets usually.

    About the other sets:

Bogdan I find useful for my Sorc healer, undaunted sets don't waste set bonuses, and as long as I don't have so much CP to simply skip hp bonuses, a health bonus is as useful as a magicka bonus.
From my experience with Engine Guardian, it would seem to me that the procs get "queued" somehow as they often appear instantly when the last one expires. I suppose whatever exactly happens, works the same for Nerien'eth.

With the nerfs to the Necropotence set, if you have 1 pet currently out the deadroth will not give you any additional increase in max magicka. The set will also not proc against any shield that absorbs magic dmg and once procced it can be cc and stunned just like a sorcs atro can be.

Are you serious ? It doesn't even proc against shields ? Well, then it's officially useless for pvp :) Wish it was at least usefull of pve.

And @ToRelax you can't control the Daedroth
