We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

Show CP like Alliance Rank and Levels?

I do not see why people should be able to hide their CPs but Alliance Ranks and Levels are viewable.

If I cannot see the enemies CP then It would only be logic that i could hide my Alliance rank and Level too.

Yes for an alliance rank/CP/lvl being visible... BUT

Im only yes for it if its going to be toggle:

Show alliance rank/CP/LVL ON will both let other players see your stats and let you see other players stats.

If the option is switched to OFF then not only players wont be able to see your stats but also you wont be able to see any other player stats.

A fair option. If you dont let others see yours you wont see theirs. You want to see theirs? You have to show yours.

I say let's do it the other way around and make level and rank invisible too.
There is no reason you should be able to see enemy player's level. It breaks immersion.

It's breaking my immersion that I can't see all information on my screen.

    +1 for visible

Maybe player profiles should be a good idea. Make characters more transparent, so it's easier to track exploiters and macro users. But not like WoW, to much informations and it's easy to copy/paste builds.

No one asked for seeing any stats... just CP rank.
On topic: All for it, of course.
    As in this older topic.

The idea of champ points being visible makes life hard for new players. If someone is running around broadcasting that he has 10 champ points that just makes him/her a target. With an alliance rank shown of Tyro you still have to guess. It could be a skilled player on a newly made character. With that being said, I see a big difference in showing alliance war rank and champ point rank. Lets not take the fun out of it for some of the newer players.

Champ point Rank 330 give or take. Nothing to hide here.

Players are not going to be spared because they could also be stronger than they look. That's a weird kind of logic.
But they will know who they should not engage. Should make their lifes a lot easier actually.

Which is a bad thing. PvP needs that element of uncertainty when you go against an enemy without having any idea what they might be capable of, and removing it will only make things boring.

It's not removing the uncertainty of the build your enemy may run or his skill at it. It's only removing the uncertainty of the potential power your enemy may posess, wich I believe is always a good thing. Not having that information just turns PvP encounters more from skill to RNG.

Those that say Champ points dont give an advantage either haven't had enough to tell, dont want others to know the advantage they have, or just not smart enough to know. Even though some champ point passives are a slight advantage, with the right player and build it can make quite the difference.

Seems like a total waste of time to me.

    It would accomplish 2 things-

Pve players would more easily be able to choose high cp teams.

Pvp players would have a better escuse as to why they lost.

In all honesty it's not needed, it's not like if I saw a higher CP person I would shy away from the fight, nor would I let someone go if they were a low cp player. I truly do not need to know this information, heck I rarely notice alliance ranks or names, all I really care about is if the target is attackable.
    Here since Beta.

Characters: All of them, both Stamina and Magicka.

In some occasions I do avoid players which I know they hav 800+ CP in PvP.
