Playstation 4 log in issues on NA

    Just to give an update before I go to bed: Still having server issues zos. Same as before, nothing has changed, requires multiple login attempts to access character select screen, then multiple login attempts to get past "requesting character load" and if you get through all that and log in to the game, once you zone you immediately get disconnected (sometimes after staring at the loading screen for a very long time!).

    And once again to verify, use my internet is fine, yes PSN is working fine, yes I can play other MP games no problem. It's not on my end, it's not on my ISPs end, it's not on sony's end.

    Hope you fix it or acknowledge it by tomorrow morning so I might be able to get some game time in during my weekend!

    Same here on xbox one. Keeps kicking every character with the need valud internet connection. Ob a side note, I got one character logged in briefly, tried to reset my home campaign, took my ap points but didnt reset. Left me in the old campaign and now I can't enter. Either the hamsters were not fed or nobody showed up for work today. They need to bring the servers down and fix this soon and not next week on maintenance day.

    New day same problems. Just cancelled my ESO + auto renewal. ZOS can take their time now.

    this was happening to me as well. i finally got in about 10 minutes ago.

    what i did.

    open up the ESO ports on my router and set static ip to my ps4 even though i never had to do this for any game ever before.

    rebuild database on ps4.

    delete "save file' on ps4 (which is just the settings of the game, characters are server side)

    unplug and plug in router/modem.


    so far it is working, but idk how well. i'm scared to use a wayshrine as the kicking happens when teleporting.

    ESO been down for me and my buddy since last night (8pm est). We are in the Philadelphia, PA area.

    Eating breakfast and sitting at my laptop now so I ran a tracert to Elderscrollsonline.com (159.100.230.100)

    The problem isn't on ESO's end. It's the ae12.edge1.NewYork2.level3.net router is busted. I use Comcast and my buddy uses Verizon so I think that eliminates ISP issues. That's probably why east coast players can't get on. In other words, don't plan on playing ESO for the foreseeable future until level3 fixes their router.

    Note- No computer expert here, I'm just an old school gamer that learned how to tracert game servers back in the day when we had to do all of our own troubleshooting with fancy new 90's Internet games.

    i was about to try and do this so thanks for doing it. this sucks and never fails it's on the weekend my only time to really play the game.

    Im experiencing this also. Started last night. I emailed Zenimax and all they told me was to reset my router. Its not my router i can log into EU server just fine its the NA server.....again!

    Lots of people are this way. I sent them messages on twitter, facebook and through the forums.

    I sent direct twitter messages to every person I could find related to ZOS and will continue to post until there is a statement made.

    Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

    It's not just the PS4 NA server. Same thing is happening on the Xbox One NA server. It apparently started around 9 p.m. last night on both the PS and Xbox NA servers.

    I'm literally able to play all other online games I own, access PS4 apps, whatever. It's clear there is something going on with the NA server. It also appears not to affect everyone.

    The weekend is generally where people have the most time to play, and it's the time that Zen chooses not to provide customer support to their fan base. That's some EA level BS right there.

    You know, I think I had a case of bad luck. It looks like there was a bad router along the route AND the console game servers need attention. A player on tech support forums is having problems playing from Thailand, the other side of the world from me, so it must be a server issue on their end.

    I can log in now but my character can't use a way shrine to port out of Wayrest or anywhere else. We just have to wait until someone gets to the office and feeds the server gerbil a carrot, get him back up on his wheel.

    It's on their side I'm betting. My trace route sends me through Miami (I'm in Jacksonville), then 2 timeouts, then the last 3 are the same as yours. I called level3 and they aren't reporting any outages with the Comcast to level3 nodes. It just really pisses me off that there has not been a single ZOS response. Going on 15 hours now.

    Just to add to the info, I have been having the same exact issue since yesterday evening. I'm not east coast (I'm in Utah) and it does seem to be affecting people out here. My friends and I just played Destiny last night instead and ran some raids for fun so I know it's not PSN but I was really wanting to work on my NB last night....this is really lame.

    Weird enough, my brother-in-law was able to get in with no trouble and did some pvp....so I have no idea what the problem really is. He and I are both the same server and same alliance.

    I don't suppose anyone has any more info on this?

    East coast, Florida here. It hasn't been working since yesterday evening. This morning it took me twenty minutes of waiting to get in. I played for a bit, went through a wayshrine and got kicked. Now it's the same mess all over again. Some people can log in and play fine, but a lot can't. I know it's a server issue because EU servers are fine. I just want confirmation that it's messed up instead of sitting in the dark.
