I bet there are a lot of nice things are to come later on.
When fallout comes out? Definitly going to give it a try. I foresee eso's player count would suffer a drop. But since fallout's going to be a one shot single player game, eventually players will flock back.

On consoles not many games can offer you mmo experience. You play either this or destiny. Yeah, other games have built in multiplayer funcionality but those are mostly just for some change in the gameplay. The genre of ESO is lacking on consoles.

You list reminds me of my post The Top Ten Elder Scrolls Tropes Missing From the Elder Scrolls Online @Artheiron, but you're right, there are many things "missing" from ESO that were in other TES games.

I almost read every topic you created @Gidorick but missed that one.

so, implementing underwater is exceeding their abilities.
but in an Elder scroll game what do you need first? a torch of course.

i lost my pink glasses at beta. it was obvious that unexperienced studio like zenimax is unable to do better than mediocre game. agree that universe is only to start here and remain till now

agree, but this could really work like some psychologic loophole for players to be better connected with their previous TES experience. but overall its silly

    @Gidorick
I may have been a member of the FORUM for a month but that has no bearing on how long I've been playing. I have been on since the first pc beta, my first chsr was a dark elf Templar, who was deleted the next beta invite I received, and somehow his name became my username. I played a Templar as my main and had to deal with the bugs of that class, esp the charge. I have been subbed the entire time, save for three months when I had to attend training for my job. So I am very much aware of eso's start, growth, drawbacks, and those yet to be addressed. This isn't a game like mass effect where you just have a story. ESO is huge. The amount of stuff that has to work, is massive and complicated. Sure, I feel like zos could do a better job and leaving a comment in the forums to let us know that they hear us. Console is out, we have content coming, they'll be able to focus resources on bug fixes and content now. As has already be stayed above (and I might add you do have access to internet @Gidorick, if you really wanted to find out how long it takes for an mmo to mature, look it up.) But as it was stated above, WoW, hands down the most successful mmo (though I've never played it as it's style is not to my taste) took 3 years to work kinks out, and another year t to three to really flourish. So again relax.

With games coming out like The Division, Fallout 4. Will you still be playing ESO in years to come?

Yes, because Fallout 4 (like Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3 before it) will eventually become boring with no one else around in the game except NPC's. ESO is much larger, and there is always something to do, and it's much more fun to play with other people around.

It's great to read threads like these and know that there are others just as disappointed as I in the lack of depth and soul Tamriel Unlimited has. I'd have to agree that there are no true evolutions coming for this release. It is what it is and the bare minimum is all the effort this company will apply to this game.

I'm really disappointed and really wanted to find a good console mmo my insomniac self could nest in for the next couple of years or more but as I make more and more alts on my account I feel each playthrough become more and more cumbersome. An mmo shouldn't be like that in month two. For the rest of you in month 15 I salute the effort but I think you are staying in loyalty of the creators of Oblivion and Skyrim... NOT ESOTU.

I don't think they will ever come back and relaunch the game. At the moment the problem is lack of knowledge and the will to do what the players want. It will also take too much time and money and that's better invested in a new game.

My bet is, they'll use the game engine and create another game and launch that in a couple of years, where they fix all the stuff that players don't like about ESO.

Like auction house, minigames, proper loot, and so on.

Thanks for the info @Spearshard. Your outlook is kind of rare among those of us that have been here since the beginning. I top my hat to you for being able to stave off lack-of-content-fatigue.

About 4 years seems about right with what we've seen. By then dark brotherhood & thieves guild will be out. Hopefully part 2 of the justice system will be out. Vet Ranks will be gone or changed to regular levels (hey, a guy can hope!). And I would bet we have barber shop and housing by then.

And if everyone on this forum just used the internet to get answers instead of posting on this forum, these forums would just be full of players like me making silly suggestions for ESO additions. This is a discussion I wanted to have, not just a Yahoo answer. Thanks for taking part!

@doggie, think that game will be Fallout Online?

I like the idea of ESO being the game that I always come back to @Pallmor. The lack of subscription will help with that.

And why do we want to sit in chairs @VincentBlanquin & @ku5h?

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
