Im DC so If you bank the Telvar stones, can i then hop on a level 10 EP/AD char and buy the vr15/16 armour sets with those telvar stones? I prefer the EP style to the DC ones.

You can buy the sets with a character from the other faction, bank them and use them on your main char, and the style will not change. However, since the vendor items are levelling with you, you need to have a V15/V16 on the other faction.
Alternatively, it should be possible to let a player from the other faction buy them, send to you and "pay" in the form of letting them kill you with a certain amount of stones, if necessary.

I'm not 100% sure so don't take my word as fact on this, but the way siege weapons work is that if it flies the alliance banner on it (Trebs and ballistae for example), then your other alliance characters can't use them. Flaming oil doesn't have an alliance banner on it so can be used by any character on any alliance. However, seeing as the Pact, Dominion and Covenant "styles" will be presented by the armours, I IMAGINE they'd be treated like the siege weapons in that your other alliance characters can hold them, but not wear them. Just a guess, of course, but in my head it seems like the logical path they'd go down with them.

Siege weapons may have that restriction, but armour sets (eg. Potentates) with the alliance prefix aren't locked to members of that alliance, why would that change?

Oh and OP, show some DC pride and rock our armour! If the sets work for you.

yeh thats what i was thinking, like i know i have a mix of pact and DC PvP gear because i was looking for the cheapest items when i was buying them from guild traders.

I like the DC heavy armour with the lion head but the others dont appeal to me and the ponytail on the helm is kinda annoying to me. The pact ones for all armour types look really nice hence why i would want them more lol
