Where the heck is the garlic?

I just spent 3 1/2-hours searching for garlic to craft some provision. Ummm where can I actually find some and why is it so friggin rare?

Check around the guild vendors and merchants on there carts..also check the level of recipe your need it for it can be found in that level dungeons..

You can also loot garlic from a few homes and tents, it hangs from ropes and can be "harvested".

I find it hanging in homes and I think some barrels. Always watch near door frames and cooking fires.

I found lots of garlic in the vet 1 through to 12 zones.
It is pretty sparse before then to be honest.

BUT, you know those hag enemies? they are like witches? well they have like little huts and campfires, they usually stock several strings of garlic and sometimes a lore book, worth checking.

If you are level 10 and have access to Cryodiil, there are lots of crates, bags, sacks, etc to rummage through. Not stealing either, so it's very quick.

Look in the main keeps and in the PVE quest hubs.

I also cant find Garlic anywhere. I finally got a writ which i have both recipes for and now i cant find 1 ingredient for it. Ive had this writ for like 4 days.

If you are having trouble finding it in the wild, it should be fairly easy to find at a Guild Kiosk for a good price.
Also the Provisioning Hireling is a good source of mats. I get Garlic fairly often, and from the hireling it's 5 or 10 at a time.

Bro I still haven't seen it and been playing since launch. I gave up on provisioning because of my lack of garlic finding skills.

I get garlic hanging from strings in the corners of most tents or huts. This is a good spot to check for hanging meats too. I get cheese from table tops, along with radishes and even coins

Also if you find a spot with a few garlic a hanging up, you can reset them by logging to char select and back in.. They will be there again

I get lots of Garlic from Provisioning Writs. I also find it in containers and hanging in various places.

If you have access to Rivenspire, that place is bursting at the seams with provisioning ingredients that are not marked stolen when you take them. Same with Cold Harbor.

Another place are some Delves that have Humans in them. Take a lap, empty the containers go outside, relog, rinse repeat. You get mob loot and exp too. Win Win Win.

I just put up a 100 Stack of Garlic in the Guild store this morning.

Hirelings are a great source of this, or any provisioning ingredients.

If your on the ebonheart pact theres a hut N/NW of ebonheart that you go into and 2 scamps attack you theres always garlic there, just log in and out and farm it.. might be stolen but still usable!!!

Guild traders. Two in Sentinel have 5 bits hanging up. I just go there every now and then to steal some.
