All of the Tel Var Sets come in an Alliance style (depending on your Alliance). That image is the EP Alliance style. There is also the AD and DC of course.

What ever Alliance you are, is the corresponding Armor you get.

I just tested this. I used my stones to buy a piece of armor on an AD character. When I deposited it into my bank I was able to wear it on a dc character, and it retained the AD Style.- Mojican5 -

It's Bind on Pickup though so I think you can only do it for yourself.
Which sucks cause I like the EP Armor but only have DC and AD Characters hah.

That does not sound right. Tel Var gear was supposed to be sellable/tradeable, like AP gear such as Morag Tong, Ravager, Cyrodiil's Light, etc. If buying Tel Var gear automatically binds it, that really messes up the game economy.

Besides that, you can transfer it with your bank between characters anyway.

though of this as a decent way to show how little enemies damage you per hit. Notice i that avrage dmg per hit is 1.3k while i have 27k HP, its taken to show how god the mitigation is while i am under CC..
