    I was scammed similarly on PS4 for a werewolf bite.
    It's not a big deal, lost a few smithing tempers. Lesson learned, never pay up first especially not to unknown players.
    Later I got the free bite from guildies.

    After doing a little more surfing around in the forums I found this

    For those who don't want to click the link it state that paying to be bitten by a werewolf or vampire is at your own risk.
    Yeah I used to live in Skyrim. Then I took an arrow to the knee.

    Here's some free advice; do not pay for a Vamp or Werewolf bite. There are many people out there that believe they should cost nothing, as long as you return the favour to others in future. Myself included.

    I'm sure there are many people, but they don't play on PS4 for the DC! You are right though, paying for bites is bad business, if you can't get it for free, then probably better off doing it the old fashioned way and find an NPC; its a ball ache but will save you from scammers.

    @Bash-ley I'm on PS4 EU DC, if you or anyone are looking for bites. If you already have one, would you be interested in joining to make a free bite guild? It's always a sad sight especially when lower levelled players are begging players for bites with whatever valuables they have to offer (which tends not to be much!). I've made a point now to get them bitten and help them level as fast as possible to 6 to be able to pass on the bite.

    Unfortunally, yes.. as i said. I was really REALLY lucky to just literally walk into the mobs..

    @ollystephens Yeah dude, add me to your guild/friends list. MY PSN name is the same - Bash-ley. I'm a WW who is happy to give out free bites, I can bite some one for the first time tomorrow but I have my first bite reserved for a friend, after that I'll be sharing the WW love :)

    I may have to leave a guild before I can join yours, I'll do that tonight.

    Never pay first, for those saying they've been scammed and not paid.

    If you pay and don't get bitten you potentially lose thousands of gold.

    If you bite and don't get paid you merely can't bite for a week.

    Most people give out bites for free anyway so don't bother paying.
