This is to ZOS , Do not listen to tthe elitest that are saying the patch is crap cause they cant solo a entire army....
Do not for any reasons listen to ANY STREAMERS and fall into their "I cant do this much dmg anymore and kill 10 ppl while exploiting broken mechanics".. Specifically changing DMG back which is a ridiculous suggestion.
Yes your PTS isnt perfect... Thats why its a MMO. You will always need changes and to balance issues, Your DMG nerf was NEEDED.. The live game was a DISASTER with kids running around 1 shotting because of broken dmg mechanics.
Adjust YOUR GAME according to your testing and the direction you want it to go into, Do not let some of these streamers... Some being barely out of highschool and know nothing about coding or programming a game. They will always be pushing for changes to their favor, listen to their FEEDBACK.. It is their right to have opinions but these streamers make me laugh .. Just because they have cult like followers they think they have some sort of power to change the game to their liking.
Those Elitest are the minority and this game is for everyone not the 1% that built broken builds, We need a even playing ground.
So... HOLD your GROUND ZOS with your PTS changes because its AWESOME... like i said you can tweak a few things... There are bugs that need to be addressed

Zanen✭✭✭The "elite" streamers are forming their opinions on the game as presented. They're not wrong about it at all, though I think I know what prompted this thread and it was pretty funny.
Damage is currently way too low, how much of that is because of the many abilities that aren't scaling correctly (particularly wards) and how much better it will be with the changes they've already mentioned is yet to be seen.
The current state of the IC is certainly not good for casuals though, all it can result in is a zerg meta.
There's very little left to be gained on pts or this forum until we get a patch IMO. I just hope it comes soon because as much as I like IC it's very rough in terms of game mechanics and balance.2 -

The funny thing is you think the "elite" are crying for this to be changed. In it's current state this patch is the most broken exploitable patch in the history of the game....you'll see come August 31st. ZoS has a history of not fixing the balance and design flaws in their patches despite the fact they were pointed out numerous times by the testers on the PTS each time.

Tend to disagree with you. The barrier spamming proxnado groups are going to be the ONLY viable thing moving forward. This patch literally killed 80 percent of build diversity as it relates to actual viability.

Barrier + steel tornado + prox set will still be the meta. In fact, it will be better that ever because the damage output of individual players will be so much lower.

Zsymon✭✭✭✭ZOS made these changes because everyone agreed damage spikes were too high, and TTK was too low. This only served solo streamers. ZOS reacted to these requests and they lowered damage spikes and increased TTK, which is what we asked.
Now suddenly damage is too low and it needs to go up again? And when it goes up we resume complaining about dying too fast again? What the hell do you people want?
I agree with the OP, ZOS needs to stand their ground and allow people to adjust before reacting in panic to the wailing of the few.
PvP should not be about a few elite 1vXers who destroy everyone while all others are left in the dust. Those streams are fun to watch sure, but such game play is unattainable for most people. AT least with this PATCH their IS reactive GAMEPLEE .M..that makes for BETTER fights instead of ONE SHOTS! I

Nonsense. Solo players isolate targets to burst down then disappear through dodge/cloak/blink and target the next one and so on. Not being able to burst people down and allowing time for adds to interefere with the fight is to the detriment of small scale and solo play.
Every solo 1vXer and streamer I have seen, detests the blanket 50% damage nerf.
You can't pin that on them as hard as you try.

And the almost 60k in fall damage that DKs can cause to opponents only a few metres away? Stand by that too.
And the Silver Leash exploit is a completely valid move, don't listen to the elitists that try to tell you otherwise.

So instead of making a ton of changes, wouldn't it be easier to JUST FIX THE BROKEN DAMAGE MECHANICS.......
One of the biggest problems with this game is the broken mechanics.
Just fix what's broken instead of trying to alter everything else around it! If there are things that aren't "Working as intended", then fix them, it really is that simple. You can do hot fixes. They don't have to be just for nerfing grinding spots.

Fair enough it had a few issues that needed attention, stamina builds needed some love, Dk needed a few nerfs but overall it was the best and most balanced PvP patch that you would have ever seen, especially if things keep going in the direction they are going in.
ZOS are making too many changes in short spaces of time, where by not enough testing can be carried out. What happens is you're left with an unbalanced buggy mess for another 6 months until the next major patch.
They should be making regular changes in small incremental patches to be able to achieve anything close to balance.1 -
