Why in the hell can we not try to make trades on the forums? For console users there is not much we can do to find players to trade with. We have very limited communication compared to the PC users. We don't even have text chat. Why not make a trading forum for console users? One for ps4 and one for xbox one. We console users get the bare bones of the game. We dont even get combat text or any sort of numbers on monsters health. Help us out a little bit.
I am requesting the permission from ZOS atm, once I got the permission I will go ahead and make one.

Since Zenimax has no intention of ever implementing an auction house, or even adding a trade section to the forums, I created a multi-platform ESO trading site several months ago. I'd appreciate a sign-up, but everyone is more than welcome to post as a guest. We are gaining new members and more traffic every day, mostly from console players. The links are in my signature below. If you can't see my signature, here is the link: ESO Trade

A trade event for console players would be sheer chaos. Even if you did manage to get about 100 players or so to show up at the event, how would you trade? Everyone would be trying to talk at once, with their dogs barking, kids crying, and crappy music in the background. Yeah, that sounds like fun.....

nono, I am requesting the permission for a trade site. Since the site is going to use arts and icons from ESO, I need the permission of usage from ZOS before I can do so. Dont want to run into any sort of legal issue with it. (Already got the site blue print done, so it shouldnt take me long to implement)

How about they add text chat.... and solve many of the console versions issue with that.
We don't even have text chat.

It doesn't receive insane amounts of traffic by any means, but it does get roughly 1,200+ page views per day and I've yet to go a single day without a new member sign-up. Most of the posts and views are from guests. I don't require anyone to sign up. It's much better than what you console players have right now, which is nothing. I provide this service for free to everyone, while it costs me to keep the site up monthly. I don't see Zenimax doing that for you.
If you want ESO Trade to have more players to trade with, then by all means please tell others about it in-game or on other forums. The more players we have trading, the better it is for everyone.

Yeah. I can't see anyones signature. It might be because I'm on my phone.
i'm going to look like a dip here and mention a horrid game, but in Runescape, way back when I played in pre-2007, the forums were the place to go to get your trades done. I remember you'd post something like:
Selling Cannonballs 5k - Message in game - WIll meet you OR will require you to travel to me.
There were a lot of posts, BUT it worked.
I'm pro-forum trade section as I play on PS4.
This also helped regulate the economy a little bit as you could see what prices things were going.

They're going to tell you no. They would never do anything like that to help console players. They would rather us sit at a blacksmith and try to communicate via voice chat

So don't use their logos or symbols if they don't give you permission. There's nothing stopping you from doing it, as long as you don't violate their copyrights or intellectual property laws.
They can't stop people from simply talking, or even making references to the game or to any other game.
