Cannot complete Provisioning Writ...

  • JohnnnyVegas
Me and a buddy were having the same problem. Out of the 3 same writs we've got over and over I could only complete one on my own. They are clarified syrah wine and grape preserves, roast corn and nut brown ale, and chicken breast and bog iron ale. I can do the wine and preserves (which he can't) and both ales that's it. So I craft those for him, he does the corn and chcken for me and we swap. When you get it the quest pops up completed. Turn in as normal. Now yesterday I just went nuts and crafted a bunch of stuff to bump my provisioning to level 10 and put a skill point in unlocking the next quality level. I'll see later what the writs require now. Should be diffferent recipes altogether.

The rewards you get FAR outshine the other writs though. I used 56 galatite Ingots to get a galatite axe and repair kit. However, I used 1 each of 4 ingredients and got 3 frost marriam, 4 bevez juice and a stack of food back. My mate had a psijic ambrosia recipe off the same writ.

Harder to make, end result is way better. I go around guild stores and buty ever recipe under 200 I don't know. Way cheaper than buying frost marriam.

Pro tip: you don't have to make it. Just hand it in....

Hmm...that's odd. You should have gotten a Tier 2 Provisioning writ, asking you to craft L20/25 recipes.

Are you sure you put a point in Provisioning Improvement rather than Provisioning Quality (or whatever it's called)? The one allows you to make the next tier/level of recipes, the other allows you to make blue/purple recipes.

You have to get to Provisioning20 (Recipe Improvement 2) to get away from R.I.1 writs.

I just gave away 10 Baked Apples and Lemon Flower Mazte to someone today. I do sell some of the writs when one of my 3 R.I.1 characters have them pop up in their rewards, if the other characters already have them, they usually sell quickly. The limited traders is a problem though, I can't sell to characters that low because none of my guilds have a Region 1 Trader.

He bumped up the wrong one. He bumped Quality rather than Improvement. It's the only craft tree that has the Item Improvement passive as the second listed skill rather than the first.
