*SUGGESTION* Dark Brotherhood + Player Justice system = Player Assassination/Capture quests....

Since we know that the DB will be coming to the game in 2016, why not also add in with this the player justice system with a twist. Since there are all these murders/serial killers out there, why not create Dark Brotherhood quests to take out these Tamriel murders.... Instead of just doing a "bounty" quest, make it a DB Assassination quest as well as a bounty. Achievements could be put in for certain types of kills based on different weapons, from stealth, etc.

Once a player has completed the murder achievement they could be "flagged" or "branded" somehow to allow people to either track them or see they have an assassination quest on them. The tracking could work similar to those "tracking" quests where you crouch down and can see the green plants they've been by recently. It would be tough to do but well worth it.

Of course, if you chose not to participate in this, it could be attached to the "Don't harm the innocents" setting, BUT not if you've already amassed a huge bounty for murders. Then you can only turn off the ability once you've been "taken" care of and your bounty reset to 0. Thieving bounties would create a "capture" quest allowing you to be able to drag the player back to town in cuffs to be turned over to the guards.

This could be a lot of fun tracking down and taking care of these people..... :D mwahahahahahahahahahahaha

You'd just get idiots hanging around crates in say Davon's Watch waiting for some poor sucker to come along and attempt to steal them so they can kill on sight

And how is that different than pretty much every ganker in Cyrodil soon to be in IC.....

Let's hope the lack of player enforcement in the Justice System reflects a decision not to mix PvE and PvP. It was an awful idea in the first place, and if anyone needed any more evidence of the folly of mixing both play-styles in the same area then the recent heated discussions over Imperial City ought to settle it. We certainly don't need it all jumbled up with the Dark Brotherhood as well, that would be madness.

With the way Imperial City is working, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the Justice system is put into place at some point. We might as well make it fun. Don't do the crime if you don't want to be served with justice.

It's different because Cyrodiil is the designated PvP zone, Davon's Watch is a PvE area.

You could always opt out of the justice system....Just stop stealing!

That's limited to the actual PVP zones and not in the PVE zones what so ever.

Most PVE players don't want any aspect of PVP in PVE zones, even with the Justice System.

You're all forgetting that people would be flagged for PvP only after acquiring a large enough bounty. If you don't want to be attacked, don't commit crimes - or do it smartly and stealthily. No ganking unless you choose to opt in.

I just don't know how they can solve the problem of level disparity between players.

That would have been really easy to address.......prior to Champion Points that is.....

Nice response lol. I just don't think that ESO is the right style of game for it. It works in Elite Dangerous because it's an open sandbox and has fewer limitations, (also you can evade being attacked easier).

In ESO however, you can already get attacked by guards with a high enough bounty but they're avoidable, players are not. Players don't leash, there are more players, players are also a lot smarter. They'll catch you eventually and it just wouldn't be the same.
