I actually like this,no reason why one set should be above all the others.
This is typical, they find that a lot of players use X so they destroy X so no one uses it while making Y good so everyone uses it instead. Just leave us the heck alone and let us play the game like we want too. Make Y better and leave X alone! There is enough harassment from bugs, imbalances and lag we don't need to be voluntarily harassed over the things we like using.
On the upside, nerien'eth is now positively OP.

Batswarm + Valkyn proc is insanely powerful. Batswarm seems to allow it to proc...and the proc effectively makes you unable to evade batswarm. It's OP imo.
Combined with the fact that it's a RNG set, it irks me.
If there is going to be a few sets more powerful than the rest....please don't make them RNG.
Lucky shouldn't equal good.
Exactly. Here we go again.
I've run that dungeon over 60 times and never got the helm.
Can't wait to get teabagged by all the people wearing that set that thing they are "good" because RNG allows them to have a build I cannot possibly duplicate.

There was absolutely no need for a 25% reduction in the damage of this set making it basically useless for pretty much any build other than maybe jabs spam templars which will likely end up running just full weapon damage now and all other builds that run any type of non dot based skill will run the nerienth set and go back to running force pulse to give it a 40% chance a second to proc a 15k+ damage crystal. Also were you so afraid of the backlash this nerf would cause that you didn't list it in the patch notes?
I understand the need to balance gear out so different specs are viable but the keg to balance is buffing sets to put them in line with the current op set, not buffing a set to bring it up to par with the current set and then needing the current set so now you have a new op set.

You mean there's no reason for a very difficult, RNG-based acquisition set to be powerful?
What a bloody shocker.
