I'm going to start ranking it up. I play as a tank in dungeons and I'm pretty effective. Adding a shield will make it better.

Which abilities are best for dungeons?

Puncture (either morph, but I prefer Pierce Armor), Defensive Posture (either morph), and Low Slash (Heroic Slash morph) are probably the top three for tanking.

Puncture is a really great taunt and enemy armor debuff (also lowers enemy spell resistance with Pierce morph), Defensive Posture is good for survivability and has a nice 'while slotted' passive, and the Heroic Slash morph of Low Slash generates Ultimate in addition to inflicting Minor Maim (by default, both morphs have this debuff).

While most ppl run Heroic Slash I myself would recommend Deep Slash, the fact that our resources are even more limited after 2.1 as tanks and the fact that deep slash splashes the minor maim on two additional targets makes it in my opinion more worth it.

Its really great in situations like tanking the Axes in AA or multiple bosses and adds in VDSA. And I too would recommend Pierce Armor morph got Puncture, the extra debuff is worth it and the small buff to armor from the other more is miniscule at best. And if you want to be more offensive take the Defensive Stance morph for Defensive Posture and if you want to be a bit more defensive take the Absorb magic. I prefer absorb magic, helps in PvP as well as PvE.

Yeh, puncture is a definite. I run with a really high dps sorcerer and two pretty good templates (who can do dps when needed) so the morph that lowers spell resistance should be awesome.

I did notice the passive for defensive posture. Shall check that out roo.

Think I'll just use skill points trying them for a few weeks then pay for a respec.
