I'm sure many people would like to incorporate master weapons into their build for PVP, but how it is currently, it's just not enjoyable to constantly grind DSA which takes a couple hours to do each run with no guarantee of a meaningful reward. Currently in live game if you score in the top 2% you'll have a chance of getting a masters weapon, but campaigns are at least 7 days making that the most unreliable way of achieving those two sharpened masters daggers that you have been waiting for. All I'm suggesting is a masters box available tel var shop. This box drops a random master weapons with a random trait. It should be a hefty amount of stones, but I'm sure the PVP'ers will all welcome this improvement.

✭Actually there have been two channels for master weapons, vDSA and PvP rewards, so those have been balanced. I think putting more stuff to tv shop is a good idea. I would put also monster sets there if ZOS would add token farming to pure PvE side too.
But don't put boxes, put actual items. From RNG bad luck i have a pile of master ice staves. I don't want another RNG. I would like to see that there is some way to get that exact item i want with hefty price.
With about fifty vCoA runs i got a usable Valkyn set with bad traits. I have actually a pile of them but only one good. I know people who a still waiting their first. If the runs drop also tokens or tv stones, then there is a way to eventually get the right one. If say thirty runs of IC prison or playing daily average PvP a month in IC gathers enough tokens, tv stones, whatever, to buy one top tier item, it should be okay.
There could be also some not-so-hard content that slowly gathers tokens. The soloists and casuals would then have at least a theoretical path to best gear. Maybe major quests could drop tokens at end so that when reaching end of Cadwell gold a player has collected tokens for one master weapon.On hiatus. If im brain-afk enough, i can grind DSA 5-6 times a day and have 5-6 chances of getting a weapon per day.
In pvp i have to be competitive for a whole week to get a chanc of getting a weapon (or two if you are lucky).1 -

Mr_Koh✭✭✭Doing DSA for it's uniqueness and the challenge it brings is fun. There's nothing fun about doing it over and over. And Imperial city is much less of a comfort zone then DSA. DSA is about as comfort zone as it gets, by the third rub all you're doing is camping the important spawns since at that point you could do DSA with your eyes closed. If you want to continue grinding DSA then you'll still have the option. I don't see what's wrong with putting master weps in more places.3

You can buy all equip available in PvP, while we're forced to do PvE to get undaunted sets, trials sets and master stuff.
Of course you can get master stuff as rewards at the end of campaign, but it's mostly crap.

✭There needs to be more ways to get master weapons, I completely agree. Have it be a reward on a one week or one month timer or having to do repeated DSA runs is just too RNG. ✭Master weapons should be added to the Tel Var merchants. Either in the form of a coffer with a random chance for various Master Weapons with rng traits or just strait up buy what is needed.

I think I should be able to craft monster helms. I think I should be able to get Nirn as a drop from corpses. I think I should be able to get Morag Tong from chests in PvE zones. I think I should get a chance at Trials gear from pledges.
I think I should be able to get whatever I want at whatever moment I want it however I want to get it at that moment. Ya know, cause "I'm supposed to play this game however I want right?"
Now Seriously, There are sets I want from trials that I haven't gotten after running several dozen successful runs and I HATE TRIALS. I hate getting into a 12 person conference call with 12 "bros" to get my gear.
