Wanted to start a feedback thread on this skill to discuss its changes.
"This ability is now an instant cast. We also increased the detonation time to 8 seconds, and reduced the damage by 28% to compensate."
My Thoughts: After using it for a while, I miss the old proximity detonation. It may just be that I need to get used to it, but 8 seconds feels like a LONG time to wait. I would rather be able to be interrupted and have it at the regular 4 seconds, which I actually feel is more balanced. I'm also a bit worried that groups will be able to more easily tank up and explode since there is no cast time (maybe I'm crazy).
As for the damage, if ZOS thought it was too much then so be it. I liked having to strategically cast a skill that could make or break my battle, but perhaps it was too strong in groups.
What does everyone else think about the change?
