Does the 'Wise Mage' set still exist in the game ?

Hey :)

Does this set still exist in the game ? Because I'm interested in it for 1.7. But I haven't seen it anymore since 1.6 was released.
I suppose, the Warlocks faith hit it and it's nothing but a long lost memory anymore ?

    Wisw mage is still in the game and drops quite frequently from the endbosses of AA and HRC. You moght also be interested in the infallible mage set, which is an impoved version of the wise mage, but only drops fro. The serpent in SO.

    Thank you, I gonna check the guild stores. I was thinking the same about Infallible mage actually, haven't seen those sets in months and infallible mage gets nerfed soon and I need the 2 crit traits of the wise mage, that's why I want it.

    You were able to buy it in stores at one time, it was due to an error where trial items when looted, where bound on equip and not pickup. Also set items would be bound on equip once you upgraded them - these errors have all been fixed now....

    wait what ? Did they change them into something not worthless in 1.7?. I have been on the point of deconing my 2 sets for months.

    The set is the same. But damage shields are critable soon, so stacking critical chance seems to be the best way for pvp now. And I have 3 free slots, and since wise mage has 2 crit traits on 3 pieces, I will take this :)

    Ahh. Bah boooo. . That sorc shield nerf is only a buff to sneaky bow builds .No point in gimping myself only to fight sorcs.

    But... weapon/spell damage still provide more DPS, which is why PvE folks also focus on these stats (and even stamina/magicka) rather than crit %.

    And not only DPS in general, but burst damage as well (since your crits will be smaller if you sacrifice weapon/spell dmg)

    Also the crit you get on 3 items is not the old quality independent 2x4%. It is more like 2x3% if legendary. It still remains quite a terrible set considering they will not scale trial gear to V16(?) and takes quite a bit of farming.

    So people should not junk their Mk/Adroiit/Cyro light quite yet.
