Is this considered solo content?

So, I don't know if its just because my build isn't viable in this patch or not, but monsters in the Imperial City and Imperial Sewers feel really strong for something that could possibly be considered solo content, so I was just wondering, is this considered soloable general content, or is this another Craglorn situation?

You are playing a strongly nerfed character in the IC so pve will be considerably harder.

Aside from the other Alliance players, a careful person can solo in the sewer area of IC, easily.

Is that just for testing, or is that going in for live as well?

The bosses can easily be soloed, except the sweepers ofc. In my opinion the difficulty should be bumped quite a bit, the only danger I feel going down those sewers is either the sweeper bosses (who are easily avoidable) or other players

    From the patch notes:
NEW FEATURES / UPDATES / BIG CHANGES

    Imperial City
...The Imperial City and the Imperial Sewers are aimed at small groups, but if you’re highly skilled, you can try going through alone...

It's not solo content, but it is soloable content- with the exception of some of the bosses you run into, though they can all be leashed.

"The Battle Spirit buff has been adjusted and now has 30% more damage reduction, 35% less healing received, and 50% less damage shield strength."
Therefore 50% less damage, 50% less heals. 50% less Shields compared to PVE.

This. These are the actual numbers.

Almost everything in Craglorn is soloable (atleast with enough CPs), I don't know what you're talking about.

Mobs in Imperial City sewers on a 300 champ point template character reminded me of pre-nerf Veteran Overworld mob strength.

They hit hard and they make an effort to kill you; incidentally this makes Defensive Posture a more effective offensive morph which becomes a more desirable in-slot ability for tank players; these mobs don't last very long, but they are definitely dangerous and should be respected as such.

    The level 3 bosses;

This one was straight forward enough for only three players, providing they quickly clear out adds it's not an issue killing this one. Enemy players showing up would quickly change this however; the most important change which needs to be made, is how AI reacts to players of different factions showing up.

    • Untauntable Boss is in combat with faction A in Test Room
    • Faction B, Faction C enter Test Room
    • Faction B, Faction C engage Faction A in combat, ignoring the boss
    • Boss is now in combat with faction A, B and C
    • Boss being untauntable, rotates through targets of Faction A, B and C

This doesn't function like this, nor in any similar capacity and would be a welcome gameplay as well as a thematic, immersion and quality of life change.

The suggestion here being, that once a player initiates combat with an NPC, the NPC will perform a check.

    • Is there a hostile target in combat with my target? Y / N?
    • Y
    • I am now in combat with all hostile targets within my target radius, I must engage all hostile targets in my vicinity, whom are directly in combat with my target, indirectly being in combat with myself

Something like that, murderous Daedra shouldn't discriminate and should attack every lesser species indiscriminately as Molag Bal will soon rule all of Nirn, so all lesser species should be chased down like dogs, enslaved and killed - as it stands now, the Daedra only attack those whom they feel like, they actively help out individual factions due to how their AI behaves and then go back to counting the stones on the ceiling of the sewers once out of combat with original aggro-e should they not be directly attacked by opposing faction who killed their original target.

This suggestion is offered up with the goal of enabling solo players to be more able to survive against groups of players through utilising their environment, specifically the AI - whilst simultaneously making the act of ganking enemy players more dangerous, for all parties involved.
