Why do you think everyone who there has no life?
People do work 8 hour 40 hour and have life and can kick butt in the game.

So far I'm doing OK in there, my PvP kill \ death ratio is in my favor (barely). But what I've seen is just zerging and ganking, although the zergs are smaller (biggest group I've seen so far is about 10 people, might just be because of the PTS population).
Maybe once people figure out the landscape it will be more interesting, but the entire thing is really just a griefer fest. That still has the potential to be fun \ exciting, but it will really be dominated by the no-lifers. People who have nothing better to do than memorize every inch of the landscape, lay "traps," gank, etc. I'm sure not everyone in there has no life (I put in 10 hours at an IRL job today), but it's geared towards people who just live and breathe the game.
@Phinix1 , it caters to a different kind of playstyle than Cyro has had up to this point. Don't expect to play the same as you do in open world Cyro and have the same results.Everything about IC is an epic fail IMHO, as a long time TES fan.
- Caters to ganking/griefing. ZOS what were you THINKING?
- Another mindless grind WHILE getting ganked/griefed for 100% of your stones.
- 100 stones per mat, 100 mats per item?!? See #1.
- Corpse looting isn't "fun and exciting" it is sociopathic and 1990's.
I always wanted to make a space game with aliens and warp travel, but I'm not delusional enough to think the world is all about me and proceed to forcibly insert my space alien warp travel agenda into a fantasy RPG genre.
Anyone with ANY experience in this industry knows you don't "give one group their turn" you either release content for both groups or not at all. And forcing PVE and PVP into one area where both have no choice but to engage in a playstyle against their will does NOT count as releasing both.
All this accomplishes is to pit one group hatefully against another which leads to more community toxicity and general vileness, discontent, burnout, and only serves to alienate a huge percent of the player base which cannot help feel a little betrayed by this "yay griefing is great" agenda that someone at ZOS thought would be good to insert into TES.

I think you got this backwards. Spending 60+hours a week working is "no life." Playing video games all day is what you are working towards aka retirement
Why do you think everyone who there has no life?

While they are nerfing some things (some of which needed nerfing, some that did not), they are balancing and normalizing many others. (projectile speed from different elemental effects, for instance).pikey2112b14a_ESO wrote: »Robotmafia wrote: »lol omg these complainers... its a pvp map... the other pve zone will follow soon... last i checked the 2 crag zones are not pvp zones... its only fair that pvp gets some content 2... once again its not about the zone and area, its the nerfs, pointless additions, content,BS that affect pve not just pvp.

Made it in, currently exploring, but I think this will just be a haven for no lifers. I'll have to see if there's something interesting in there, but so far it just seems like content designed for manlets who can't compete athletically or in the job market.

Wow. You seem like a really fun person to be around.
