Im a sorc vr14 on ps4 and im curious as to how the damage is looking on things such as the 50% and stuff e you living longer or dying faster? Do you have a chance to react to a 1v3 and a chance to win. Also with the bolt escape nerf to 1.5 seconds (zos thats total bs because we live off of b-escape) anyways thankyou for commenting back

Is that just sorcs with shiz tons od champ points? Or just every sorc? Cause that bolt escape nerf like seriouslyyyyy i think will put a beating on us. And hows the 50% damage reduction and healing working out? Do you have time to react?

Im not expecting it to but i think sorcs will still have a good upper hand hopefully. Due to the nerf of streak cant really run so gotta stay and fight lol

Sorcs are notorious for shield spamming because Hardened Ward + Dampen Magic/Absorb Magic + Healing Ward

I've run into PvP with my sorc and laughed at NBs who tried to one-shot me through a 35k damage shield.

Hardened ward so far is the only Sorc specific spell I see here.

@Greg I was wondering if anyone got it? What are the mechanics on it? I did some testing previously on what unresistable damage was, and it was just damage that couldn't be blocked. But I'm guessing it's actually an umbrella term, does it increase damage to the shield or does it damage through the shield?

Please link my @Zlater in your response, I'm really interested and would like to do some testing around it.

Shieldstacking sorcs where already pretty hard to kill, as you can see on live right now. However they had the weakness of dieing near instantly if they had just a little downtime on their defenses. Now that doesnt matter. With the damage nerf every sorc can conviniently relax on the ground through a wrecking blow spammer without having to worry the slightest about his HP since as soon as he is up again he can just reshield and keep trying to kill the opposition (which wont really work either).

You can still use all of the class shields, granted Hardened Ward would be less effective but still decent.
Barrier would be useful still
Stamina users also get Brawler if they use a 2handed.

Stop acting like you can't "shield stack"

You also have access to Bastion to make your shields more useful.

On my nb I could not break most sorc shields now, and because my healing got nerfed as well as dodge rolling I was easy prey to any sorc with half a clue. Very disappointed.

I'd love to read people who realize that magicka shall NOT be the only way to go. There are stamina players out there that would like to EXIST in this game. Shield stacking is accessible to magicka players only, and because it scales off of magicka it's completely OP, granting people a huge output damage and a huge defense.

But this is working as intended, so why should we even take the time to report this so called issue ?

The only thing that can hurt me in any way on my sorc is a stam templar that manages to biting jab me. Got 1shot for 21k hp by 1 biting jab + 3 burning light proccs.

You obviously missed entirely my second phrase where I said give emphasis on the word effective. A 4.5k Hardened Ward is not efficient....If you couple it with another 5k shield from Harness Magicka you will get with 2 casts 10k shield. That is gone with a single crystal blast for example. Ahh and forgot...you are just almost out of magicka too as a stamina character. So rethink before you post.

It is like saying that a magicka based character has equal access to dodge rolling....you do not. But dodge rolling got nerfed....shield stacking didn't.

I don't really understand, why shields are stronger now, as they actually should be weaker compared to damage.

However, since Sorcs cannot escape thate easily anymore, it's fair to have reliable shields in my opinion.

As soon as people find out, that Templars and DKs with max health combined with their class shield, strong defense and self heal is god mode, people will stop complaining about Sorcerers
