Overload Exploit still a thing on 2.1 PTS

✭✭✭✭✭The thing with this exploit is, that it brings shame over everyone who uses Overload.
Many many many people believe, that Overload offers no 3rd bar and that if you use an ability from your Overload bar, they think you're an exploiter.
In fact I was accused of being an exploiter for using Lightning Form on my Overload bar. This bar belongs to my build and I have some abilities on it, because my pet build totally destroys my diversity and I just need this to have few more abilities.
So no matter if you exploit or not, people will view you as an exploiter for activating Overload.Auri-El is my lord,

I admit, I used the Magelight exploit. Most Sorcerers did.
And I still use it in PvE. Because Sorcerer DPS is so horrible, using the exploit and gaining this additional Magicka, is the only thing keeping my DPS somewhat in line.

I admit, I used the Magelight exploit. Most Sorcerers did.
And I still use it in PvE. Because Sorcerer DPS is so horrible, using the exploit and gaining this additional Magicka, is the only thing keeping my DPS somewhat in line.
I don't use it in pvp though.

And Overloads third bar is intentional and has been a part of the game since day 1.
I'm just sad you can't still charge out of overload. The third bar is intended, but using a toggle while not on the bar with the toggle is not.ANIMATION CANCELLING WORKING AS INTENDED.
And Overloads third bar is intentional and has been a part of the game since day 1.
It also isn't animation cancelling. It requires tricking the game to activate a toggle while no longer on the bar with the toggle.Cinn #SorcLivesMatter

Light attack weaving = Animation Cancelling.

If you spam your crushing shock key you'll cast 1 crushing shock every second (Ignoring latency issues).
If you spam light attacks you can cast 1 light attack every second (separate GCD)
With light attack weaving you can cast 1 crushing shock and 1 light attack every second because you're cancelling the light attack animation with the crushing shock and they have different cooldown timers. You can also cancel is with a dodge roll, bash, block, and a couple other things. ✭Animation cancelling can involve light attacks, heavy attacks, bash, skills, dodges, blocks, and skill bar swaps. Each has a priority level. Overload is a type of weapon switch.
Which is why magelight and bound armor activation weapon swapping is working as intended.
If the video above doesn't explain this well, there are more tutorials on animation cancelling available.
Haha you guys are going to lose it when I show you how to weapon swap while swapping into overload...you don't even need overload on your second bar...

Sure, you can toggle bound armor and inner light on overload bar and keep it when switched off, but as soon as you swap your bars it's lost.
It might be a funny bug, but that's all it is. It's utterly useless in real time play.
That's far from true. I have made videos and sent them to Brian wheeler about how to do it so they can fix it and even showed how you retain it AFTER you do it. Hell you can even unslot overload after doing it and you still keep the bonuses. Try again saying it is useless........my max magicka pool, from my video for brian, would love to have a word with you about how it isn't useless. The sad part is when you see people accidentally go into overload, which is when you lose the buffs and have to redo the exploit, quickly cancel and go in and cancel again to keep the buffs. It is apparent who uses it
You misunderstood. I know how the bug functions. You can have bound aegis and inner light enabled without having it on your bar. The point of the matter is, that these buffs will turn themselves off as soon as you swap to your secondary weapon. Any competitive play requires you to swap bars a lot. Read above. Sure they should fix it, but the people here are making such a drama about something that only works in a test environment. Really now? If that's the case, then I take back what I said previously. It should get fixed ASAP. I managed to get the 'exploit' to work, but it dissapeared as soon as I swapped weapons.

Morvul✭✭✭✭✭the following is not intended as an endorsement of the exploits, but rather a little fun fact:
On my Orc spell-caster sorc, I decided to test both the overload exploit (with mage light) and the double mundus exploit (with the mage stone):
That gave me about 11% more max magicka, and 10% more crit chance.
compare that double-exploit numbers to the 10% max magicka, 4% elemental damage and 12% magicka reg which a race-change to altmer would grant me - and the numbers are pretty much on par.
conclusion: I could exploit my orc to cast like an altmer
