Just bank em beforehand ?
Just bank em beforehand ?
Yes, that would fix this flawed mechanic. Just like everyone cures vampirism when entering a city in case everyone's Valkyn Skoria's set activates on you at the same time.
I had my stones saved in the bank and I wasn't crying because I lost some useless PTS items. I am reporting what I believe is a mistake in the Tel Var Stone mechanics: If you cannot win them in an area you should not lose them in that area.
The entrance is even right beside the bank, that is definitely not the problem.

Noooooooo, any death will result in a loss of stones. The only 100% loss is from a player kill though.

Your death recap tells you that, and once I noticed I took note of my TV count, and after I died, I checked again, and still had the same amount. As mentioned in ESO live you don't gain or lose stones in the dungeons, but I really hope the UI for the recap gets fixed so it doesn't make you think you are anymore.
This is indeed a UI bug and has been fixed.
It's a bug, you do NOT lose Tel var stones inside of the dungeons. It is a UI error that apparently has already been fixed internally.
