Combat UI without the use of ADD ONS

Toggle on/off for resource pool numbers and outgoing damage scroll text as in FTC with damage meter.

Forgive me sir, but was not this already part of their UI? ZOS has chosen to disable it as to not break 'immersion'.

I'm confused by this. Unless you're on a console, why would you choose to torture yourself by not using addons? They make the game better, objectively, by customising it to your needs. It's like saying that you're hungry, but you don't want to eat the food in front of you, you need someone to feed it to you.

Is it laziness? Fear? Technophobia? PEBCAKophobia? I don't know. It just seems silly.
