Why would anyone buy the 10000 Tel Var set items?

Shouldn't the 10k one be at least VR15? Can you not improve them with normal materials (practically free)?

    That too, I was expecting the cheap ones to be VR15 and the "greater" ones VR16, but I was wrong :expressionless:

    @Gyudan from what I saw they scale to you.. when I looked at the armor sets they were VR14, but when I saw someone else look at them on stream (and they were VR15), the sets were VR15 for the same price scheme.

    Maybe, @HeroOfNone also wondered why the major price difference, as you can just upgrade the blue ones via crafting.. but having the purples only go to VR16 would make sense

    On live, the cheap ones will be V15 and the expensive ones V16, I presume.

    Yeah the prices seem way off. Why pay 10x the price for purple when you can just upgrade it yourself.

    There's also the boxes that give random pieces for 800g, except they're divided up into the different sets. I don't see why anyone wouldn't buy at least a couple of those before picking up the specific additional pieces they need for 200g more.

    There's an even cheaper option for a green piece of a random set.
