I bought ESO from Steam, but I got the game from my friend who downloaded from Steam. I can play the game, but now it does not appear on Steam as downloaded of course.
What can I do about that?

✭The answer seems obvious: download it yourself. Why would Steam recognise a version on your account Steam knows you didn't download?
Failing that, I think this is a Steam issue, not one for ZOS.0
