What seige weapons do you want

ShadowAvenger45
Now, I've always wanted to put this up on the forums. What would your favourite siege weapon be in PvP. I've always wanted the to add seige ladders or seige towers to get over those pesky walls around a keep. Know list here what your favourite would be and also what other DLC's do you want to come to ESOTU thank you for reading.

I would like French fries with ketchup please. Its the choice of my people.
Obviously i want a trojan horse made all of nirncrux. Enemy players will tow it in and then find out its full of scramps and enemy players.

ps. What are you trying to discuss about?

You make a generic title "Peoples choice" that completely doesn't even give a clue to reader what the topic is going about (it can be literally about everything). Then you ask about most favourite siege weapon in PVP and then you suddenly ask about DLC?

You cant decide what your topic is going to be about?

It's weird how we have to burn some Siege Ladders in Davon's Watch to save the town, but we don't get to use them.

Although, you know what they say about the first person up a siege ladder? "Dearly departed, we are gathered here to remember...."
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Being kicked over the wall by a giant, like in the one quest in Eastmarch.

Edit -> Or non-lore-appropriate, but placing mines like in The Two Towers to slowly stack up bombs, and then have the wall explode in one nice, fancy BOOM!

    War Mounts!

    Suggestion was posted here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/152462/siege-weapon-concept-war-mounts/p1

    I suggested:

    The Mammoth Siege Beast
This is the War Mount for the Daggerfall Covenant. They could have a weakness to Fire damage.

    The Senche-Raht Battle Cat
This is the War Mount for the Aldmeri Dominion. They could have a weakness Ice Damage.

    The Centurion Spider War Construct
This is the War Mount for the Ebonheart Pact. They could have a weakness to Shock damage.

    Oh no... SCAMP BOMB catapults/trebuchets!

Siege towers, grapnels, ladders? As stated elewhere, an adventurer/explorer skill line with CLIMB needs to be added.

Why can't we have underground tunnel's?

Have each resource have a tunnel to the Keep. Good team's could show some real skill and coordination going though the tunnel wiping the enemy. Instead of getting destroyed by Siege.

Roll out ladders like in the trailer

Titan summons that require 4 players or so in a circle to maintain the summon. Range of Titan short enough that players are within siege range of the wall and would need a dedicated healer to sustain. lasts for 1 min and minus 15sec for each player that stops the ritual.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

I especially like ladders for their simple reason, altough who would use sieges then? I can imagine 50 ladders on walls, besides the attackers wouldn't even have to repair walls after concquering a kepe.
But I also wanna see siege towers, that would be cool IMO.

Imagine the knock-back's on people who try to climb the ladder xD

I agree though, Siege in the front, ladder in the back.

So, you are saying that ladders are the Mullet of sieging?

    1. I like the war mounts idea, but mammoths for the pact, constructs for the covenant, and senche-raht for the dominion would be more fitting.

    2. Explosives. Need to be able to plant bombs at gates/walls to blow them up.

    3. Siege Towers - push the tower to a wall and it lets your faction ascend over the wall.

    4. Grappling hooks: pulls yourself up over a wall.

I also think it'd be cool to get an alliance war ability that calls certain types of NPCs to attack a keep. For example, one item could call in friendly npc archers or soldiers, another item could call in a group of armored trolls.

Can't do 4. It'd make the Dragon Knights not as special anymore.

You know Lynx we had that discussion in my thread... about Constructs for DC and Mammoths for the Pact... I agree with you but I settled on the above because of the upcoming Wrothgar zone in High Rock with Giants (Daggerfall) and the Clockwork City (Ebonheart).

    Ladders for scaling walls.

Or those rolling tower things for mounting a fort wall.
