Should they add a non-PC player Campaign?

I had to re-read your post a few times, I'm guessing you want a campaign on the console servers that don't allow PC transfers to play in them because some may have high CP counts?

I disagree. It's all one population now. How would it benefit ZOS to segregate their population when it is already likely to be the vast minority?

Don't they already do that with non-vet campaigns? PC players want to switch just so they can op in a world of new players. Well allow the new players to not join them in that world. Nothing wrong with giving the consumer choices. I for one would join it, play it, and never leave a non-PC campaign. If I get killed by a kid with no life that grinded for hour and hours and hours, I'm cool with that, as long as I know he didn't get a year head start. The PC transfer only made the switch to be dominate in PvP. Well allow them to be dominate against eachother, if the console population decides not to play with them. Nothing wrong with giving the customer more choices

I voted yes, but only cause at least then I'd be much closer to fair than not. However the real problem lies in the CP. So they just need to fix CP or get rid of it, or give us non-CP campaigns. Then we'd be good to go.
  • Paradisiac
They give us these pointless non-veteran campaigns that mean nothing. Come on Zenimax. Use your brains; just because it is non-veteran doesn't mean there aren't players on their alts with the same amount of CP as their main characters. CP gained on any character is account wide. Honestly that makes it far more unfair for players who have 0 CP.

What would be the point of a campaign with only NPC's in it...

I kid. I think that is pretty harsh though. A non-CP campaign would be the best option, though I don't think that is the real issue. Console players will catch up eventually. Find a vet PC player in your alliance and get them to teach you the ins and outs.

Hahahaha get them to teach me where the best places to go to grind for hours hours hours and hours in PvE to get better in PvP.....yeah that's a great solution to the issue

I understand but its really hard when there is an emperor with hundreds and hundreds of CP in Resistance and Critical

Yeah... so, that's actually not possible. Because you can't put more than 100 points into a star. Seriously. They cap.

Also, you need to be CR298 before you can max a single star... at which point you're literally only buffing one thing in that entire tree. Also, that's specifically for Warriors. For Mage and Thief you need to be 299 and 300.

Also, resistance caps at +25% IIRC. So you can get a bonus that's weaker than two pieces of Gold, Nirnhoned gear... So, while that's a real modifier, it's not "ohgodwhyisheeatingmyface" range.

There are different resistance perks I'm talking about about like elemental, physical, critical, spell.

At the same time, there's surprisingly little overlap between them. So, we're back where we started. Realistically, a player who scattered their points all over the place is going to be getting something like +4% or +5% of incoming damage, or they'll resist 20-25% of one thing.

So, either they knew exactly what you were planning to hit them with, or you really should have used lethal arrow.

And of course, the top tier grinders with CP are just now hitting 300 (IIRC), so the idea that they'll magically be immune to everything is just laughable.

Yes, you'll get into the Champion system someday, and see how slowly it advances towards anything.

The real issue remains that the PC players are better at the game than you. Not because they have some slight statistical advantages, but because they've been practicing on each other for nearly a year. They made the same mistakes you're making now, got smeared across the walls for them, learned to adapt and overcome, and when you walk in and say, "but, they smeared me across the walls like the chunky salsa on that one cheap burrito I shouldn't have eaten. It's so unfair," I can legitimately say, "yep, and they didn't even need their CP to do it."

I am just glad that my fellow guildies on PS4 don't seem to think this way in game.
Only time it even comes up is when they ask me where I got the cool Senche Tiger.

My favorite newbie/Tiger interaction has to be the guy who came on the forums right after Unlimited launched, and was yelling at "all you newbies on your tigers jumping around."

Well you are just super awesome. So why did you make the switch from PC to ps4 btw?

Yeah the 25% health, magic, stam regen doesn't help. The what 25% more damage and resistance of everything doesn't help. Or the boost in spell and physical damage doesn't help. Then you throw in the top level all gold gear to go with it, yup no advantage to be had with CPs. Not sure why people keep trying to act like they aren't a big deal. If they weren't then people wouldn't grind for hours to get more of them. I mean come on dude, I get you have tons of them, just don't act like it doesn't give you a huge boost in PvP. Just acknowledge it and say well I "earned" them. I don't 100% agree with that argument, but at least it's respectable that you are at least being honest and not trying to fool anyone

I am both, on console I mostly play Rockstar games and an admin on a couple R* fan sites.
I am also a Steam member on PC.

Yeah, no one has that yet.

Let me say that again, using words you might understand. No one. Not you. Not me. Not the boggieman in Cyrodiil waiting to one shot you with camouflaged hunter and a full 7 pc set of gold nirnhoned, has that.

    Do you know why?

Because there are no natural CR 900s in the world.

    None.

    Hasn't happened yet.

They aren't out there murdering you.

But, please, don't let me stop you from crying in your ice cream over players that won't exist for another 10 months, and how "it's so not fair people have been playing the game longer than me." Also don't let me stop you from crying about a system that you haven't even unlocked or looked at yet. Because if you had, you'd be well aware of what CP actually gets you.

Guess what? I've been playing the game longer than you and I'm only CR90.

You know what that gets me? +6.6% armor (for one type, if I have 5 of that type equiped), OR +10.8% to one specific resist. +4% to all recovery stats or +7.7% to ONE of them, and +10.8% to a single damage type of my choosing.

That's it. I have to chose. If I decide to spread the points more thinly, I do get better returns, but you're not dealing with people that have +25% to all damage, and +25% to all stat recovery, and +25% to all resistances. Because that would require, literally, thousands of CP.

    No one has that.

You are throwing a tantrum about players who do not exist.

What you want is a no CP campaign, not a no PC campaign.

    this

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

The point allocations the Console players are claiming transfers have are beyond the current max CR characters. I mean Markt86 has been crying about how he must be dying from CR1500 players.

a non-pc player campaign on pc/mac? sure it will be an empty campaign.
a non-pc player campaign on consoles? it will just be the same as other campaigns because nobody play in console servers on pc. how about a non-android player campaign?
