On a more serious note, a lot of what you hope for would be impossible in an MMO. You just can't put stuff so individually related like designing a town in a world that is persistent for hundreds of other players, too.

You do know that Orsinium is a solo instance dlc right? This is the only reason why I would suggest such things.
Um, what's your source on Orsinium being a solo instance? Your post is the first time I've ever heard anything indicating that.Strider_Roshin wrote: »Strider_Roshin wrote: »This is a destroyed land that we have to rebuild. Well, if it was a solo instance it would definitely still appeal to some of the players, and I'm sure people would buy it. Not nearly as many as would buy it if it was a more standard questing zone, though, and that's the crux of it. For a DLC to be successful it needs to appeal to a large portion of the player base. By the very nature of things, a PVE DLC won't appeal to PVP-only players (and the reverse is true: a PVP DLC won't appeal to PVE-only players), so to make up for that you have to make sure it appeals to a majority of PVE players. A solo instance simply wouldn't do that, so it would be very foolish of ZOS to make Orsinium a solo instance. The portion of the player base who would like that enough to pay for it is too small.Psychobunni wrote: »Strider_Roshin wrote: »
Yes, I was wondering where I missed that bit of info. Why would anyone even buy it?

I know a game that did that; LOTRO. There was a quest to rebuild a torn town. I don´t think it is impossible. Nothing is impossible but it is rather do Zenimax bother to make it that way.
