@xaraan Hmmm, not so sure about that.

I've done talks in SMS World in Barcelona years back and it's a bloody nightmare and a horrific thing to do. That being said, I've also watched people put together one of the best presentations I've ever seen for a 3,000 crowd.

I thought this was ok. Remember, these guys are not used to presenting/lime light. Sure, you may expect MF to be like that, but he isn't. Some people present/make content better than it is on how they present it. Others tank it.

Agreed however, their weakness' should be known by marketing who can structure a presentation around their individual strengths rather than what happened....

What are you on about? They gave a time frame for Orsinium, along with Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. After I fenced 1,000,000+ gold worth of stuff for the Contraband Violet dye, I kinda lost desire to keep stealing since my only incentive is gold then, and I don't have much if anything I am interest in buying in the way of special set pieces in Guild Traders and such, but this may spark my interest again, depending on what kind of objectives Thieves Guild content sets one out to (try) do.

We already had a time frame for Orsinium, they already said before end of year on it. TG/DB, we also knew was coming after orisinium from the "hint" they gave at E3, but I guess they did confirm the hint. That's not enough IMO to hang their hat on.

Well yeah, it left me wanting some more still, but we have to take what we can get. I want to know what cosmetic stuff one can get with Tel Var Stones, all they touched on was yet another horrid Polymorph. Ugh, they have to move on from undead crap...

Thanks @Throren. I am kind of glad they didn't do that "here's what we're working on!!!!" thing they used to do. It creates false hope in us.

Personally, it kind of has me worried that we very likely aware of all the content that we will get THROUGH 2016... Clockwork City, Merkmire, maybe spellcrafting. Slow going for ESO... Oh well, I'll be here for the bumpy ride.

Xivkyn battles in the Sewers
Treasure vaults - set pieces (now called Trophy Vaults)
6 sets to buy with TV stones
3 new craftable sets
TG and DB are two separate packs for 2016
Cross-faction PvE is planned - starting with dungeons
Controller support coming, has Console UI
Subtitles for console
On removal of VR: "You'll be left with just the Champion System, that's the way levelling works"

I honestly don't care about the awkwardness. The lack of information is what they should feel bad about. They didn't release much to get excited about, I guarantee everyone excited now was already that way. Hell, our whole guild watched this together and we all felt sapped about even playing the game after this.

At least summarize things correctly. "Literally said two sentences, more or less"

He talked about the quarterly updates. Orsinium will be next. Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood will be separate DLC in the two quarters that follow. Veteran Ranks will be removed, but not until after Orsinium. Looking for Guild improvements. Cross alliance dungeon play. Controller support on PC.

stam regen? During eso live they mentioned changing a mundus stone for stam regen I think, so it may get better.

Kinda what I was expecting though. The only way to remove something is to actually remove it. Renaming it to something else (like turning VRs into levels) doesn't work, because then they haven't been removed.

Just going to point out that anyone who took umbrage with one of the speaker's being a bit winded should go and try and have a nice jog in the middle of the afternoon during a Texas summer.

If you're still alive and NOT wanting to chug down a glass of water afterwards Telel will then point out Dallas has mild weather compared to the more southerly portions. ^_^

Telel was also cackling madly at that because it's funny to see 'tourists' make those kinds of mistakes.

I disagree, if they converted Vet Ranks to levels and made the leveling act differently (progressively increasing the XP requirement instead of being slapped in the face with 850K-1Million XP requirement) Vet systems would be "removed" by them being replaced.

And why must they REMOVE them? Because they SAID they were going to remove them? BAH... that's B.S. They "said" much more substantial things than that in the past and have reneged. They're allowed to change their mind. They need to here. Just removing Vet Ranks is going to bite them in the rear.
