I haven´t seen one lately not using at least one broken thing in this game...
well, to be fair it's almost impossible to make a viable build that does not include at least one broken skill/gear/whatever
This is not meant as an excuse to all the deliberate exploit usage, but simply to point out how much in the game is actually broken in some way...

It is overpowered but some other spells and abilities are as well. ZOS is making rules with doing or with not doing things in regard to spells and mechanics. Why we should think even is it exploit if ZOS obliviously purposely keeping it in the game for ages. If they consider something as game breaking they should react in couple of days and that is not just their right - its their obligation . That reaction time for consequence is having measurable and non measurable effects on game. VDSA leader-boards are shaped with people who use camo hunter. How ZOS can solve that ?

so why even post in here?

Can you explain how it stacks? Obviously not how to recreate it, but what sort of numbers you are getting and with an example ability since I'm still not convinced it's people being unaware of it proccing with each melee attack or tick which has been around since forever.
Wrong ... That's what all the threads are about in the first place, it's currently BROKEN and procs far more often than what the tooltip implies ...AceTheDazed wrote: »well there is only a 4% chance for it to proc tho right?

***. I know how the bug works and I can confirm neither Expert Hunter nor any of their Morphs are stackable in the PC version. there are ways to create an Eternal Duration Camouflaged Hunter but that's it for PC version.
On PS4 / XBONE I can confirm that it works from what I've seen.

The way it works is there are multiple instances of Hunter (it works with all of them) all active at once. If you looked in the character screen it shows up multiple times, that is the stacking part. Then if one procs they all do, and since the ability is refreshed against undead and daedra, you can maintain around 4 to 10 stacks most times. So with just random numbers if you had 4 stacks and they dealt 4000 damage they would hit 16000 from just Hunter without added variables of crit, etc.

It won't work on console or I'm doing it wrong. Posted in another thread I tried stacking camo hunter, hitting a target from stealth with a focus aim snipe shot and it does not one shot anything. It seems to hit like a regular snipe shot, so again either I did the glitch wrong or people think it works on console but something else is going on here.
Stacks of camo hunter do jack squat at least with snipe shot *shrug*
I use camo hunter all the time. Sorry you chose vamp, I didn't. I don't bother stacking it with caltrops and acid spray but without the exploit it still hits hard and with enough weapon damage you can one shot any vamp. That's how it should be. There should be a consequence for going vamp. I'm glad there is. There's no point in getting upset. PC is plagued by they-who-shall-not-be-named (on the forums at least) running around in perma mist form. You have macro snipe-ambush people. You have double mundus stone people. You have camo hunters. The entire game is nothing but people cheating or exploiting and ZOS doesn't care. If you can't beat them, might as well join them. I say we just air all the exploits and ruin PvP until they have to fix it or lose their income.

This is why I personally prefer true subscription based games. This is a common occurrence in most free to play/micro-transaction games. When there is a mandatory sub to play the company is compelled to keep an eye on game breakers and produce a steady flow of content, or they risk losing their revenue. While with f2p games they don't have to really stay on their toes and they become too relaxed with their support. They entice optional subs with bonuses to game play and make their real money for micro transactions. They tend to focus more on novelty patches like fixing pet animations and producing more costumes. Wouldn't be surprised if they introduce some type of housing or guild base, selling building material and furniture while one shot exploits run rampant.

lol. They didn't give a *** when it was subscription based.
