Vigor will destroy PVP in 1.7 if left unchanged

    Should not stack and have an AE cap of 6 per cast.

    Ditto for barrier (yes, I know it already doesn't stack)

    Barrier is an ultimate. No need to treat them the same.

    Pvp skills are certainly OP. Some are great for PVE yet they are gated behind months of PVP. Pvp abilitys should be nerfed.: P

    Vigor has to work on self only, and not be stackable like it is now.

    If not, PVP in 1.7 will become a much larger joke then it is currently.

    The 50% heal and dmg reduction will just make vigor AOE stacking MUCH MORE POWERFUL, because stacks of this heal for so much already. Hell, even 1 vigor heals for tons.

    Meanwhile vigor will be powerful, heal on dmg abilities will become USELESS, and the balance will be even more screwed. Heals based on dmg done will be worthless in pvp, end of.

    ZOS, please start to use your brains before you send your own game into the dirt in terms of PVP.

    Got any answers if you play this game and realise how much vigor will ruin pvp when stacked, AoE'ed by every player in 1.7?

    Think about it HEAL on DAMAGE
    ie damage and tank at the same time.
    Remove heal on damage and DPS builds actually have to invest in something defensive other than stacking damage.
    With heal on damage + shield stacking...why waste anything in defence ?
    Glass cannons ? ..more like diamond shielded cannons at present.

    Vigor needs some serious balancing, because right now a stam dps can easily outheal a dedicated healer..
    And that in it self isn't even the main concern. The main problem is that the HoT stacks, and for insane amounts that a 50% reduction won't change. Along with 50% dmg reduction, vigor stacking players will be impossible to kill.

    I wonder what the devs are actually doing. They are giving us a pvp patch that is even more broken.

    How does the level one unlocks a skill add to how OP something is? I'm not saying vigor isn't broken, but I've basically read this thread as "I'm okay with OP skills unless others have it.". Where was this thread before the supposed lowering of vigor was announced? Since cloak and bolt escape or also considered OP, do I have to wait until v14 to be allowed to use them?

    I have yet to see a Vigor player here on console (maybe cause everybody who's hit R9 on Assault/Support is a Magicka user lol)

    who cares about pvp? there were like 5 pvers who cried about having to pvp to get pvp abilities so ZoS rushed out and changed the game for them because 'it was to hard'.

    Obviously zos only cares about PvE, thats the reason why pvp has been an unplayable mess since 1.2 and its only looking to get even worse.

    well slotting a resto staff severly limits your offensive abilities while slotting vigor does not.

    its would be comparable if a 50% dmg reduction would be added to skills on a bar with vigor slotted...

    The only problem I see with vigor is that it stacks, if they stop that, it will still be useful, without being OP. The fact that it is an AOE heal and self heal so no problem though.

    People are getting so used to Elder Magicka Online that they can't imagine that something else that a magicka skill can perform a bit better in some rare situations ... This is just pathetic.

    It's a skill that requires you to not use a specific weapon and stacks, the stacking is the problem, zergs will be untouchable.

    Would it not just be quicker for you guys to give us stamina users a short list of what skills we are actually allowed to use to survive or escape from your super duper skills?

    You've got our regeneration, you've stopped us dodging or breaking free or blocking more than once or twice, you've got some of our key damage skills nerfed but obviously we shouldn't be allowed to heal either.

    Would it make like easier if I just came into Cyrodiil without armour, weapons or skills and stood somewhere reading my map - wouldn't want you to have to work for a kill with your l33t magicka skills... maybe I could get a large neon sign from the crown store to advertise my position too?

    "Enchanted" weapons, maybe. Same versions of the physical weapons that have been altered to be magicka based. 2H sword with a rune on it, scales with magicka instead of stamina. BOom done.

    maybe a wand as a 1 handed weapon, so you can use them with s+b or dual wield or such, have some magicka morphs for the skills. I'm getting tired of using desto staves :(

    Hence when i finally decide to make a magicka nb, which is going to be a while i'm just going to go dual wield.

    Everything should be nerfed. We should all just be hitting everyone for 1hp with our wooden swords. If it's good enough for the npcs in PvE, it's good enough for us in PvP.

    It seems everything that hits for over 1hp needs nerfed and I agree. They should really just do away with everything. 5 hours later I may be down to 50% whilst me and you just stand there and slog away with our wooden training swords. Hell, either of us could just get up and make a cup of coffee, then go to the toilet before returning to our epic encounter. You'd be free to keep hitting me whilst I was away doing the above stuff. I'll just chug a lvl 1-5 potion and my health will be as it was.

    Have you seen this happening on live servers?
    With vigor healing for 50% less on the next patch, how zergs could be more untouchable than on live servers?
