When mine was a baby (in the mid 90s already), I had no time AT ALL to play games or whatnot, because he had the highest priority. Nowadays, it's kids having kids, hanging around at their computers and consoles gaming all day, or if not that, having their nose stuck on the display of their smartphone taking selfies. And people are still wondering why every new generation gets more and more stupid.

I bought the Xbox One version, and I felt sorry for myself. I now have the PC version which I paid $12 and I am extremely satisfied. Can't believe I spent $65 on the crap console version.Xbox One/PC, North America.

Some of the open mic chat I've heard before giving up on the console version I felt as if social services needed to be there.
It wasn't the screaming of the kids , it was the Neanderthal responses of the parents/caregivers.
They were lucky if they just got ignored by the mouth breathers , often is was some horribly trashy yelling back at the kids to wait or go away or worse.

And don't feel sorry for console, its a ton of fun in the living room, free from neck pain and within sight of the people we made kids with, close to the nachos. Close to the beer. Children are awesome and I would never advocate anyone harshes on their kid for the sake of a random dude.
Being on console puts you in the center of things. People watch you play. Joke. They have questions. Its a community thing even for non players.
Ooh and did I mention the pillowy embrace of the couch. Its nothing like the crippling hand cramps of wasd fingers.
No, the couch is much more like the cloud an angel lounges upon as he plunks out a tune on his harp.
Those aren't crying kids you are hearing, its the sound of love, and life and sheer hedonistic comfort.

Well then im a freak sitting on a couch and using my pc on 48" tv. I dont like beer but there are some other drinks involved (im a pole so guess) and yes there is sunlight here too.

The term has been reappropriated as a benign colloquialism, commonly used to deliver jabs in technology rivalries. The funniest thing I've encountered, but not on ESO...
I was running daily and weekly missions on Destiny with an online friend that I regularly played with. I told him I had to go to the gym and I'd be back. Well, I unplugged my mic and left the room to start getting ready. I came back through on the way out and I heard heavy breathing and soft moaning coming from my TV. I'm like dubya tee eff?!?! Turns out he had left his headset on when he went to fap. So of course I had to call my roommates in to listen and laugh. When he finished we got on the mic to congratulate him on his performance. Needless to say he blocked me on PSN and was never heard from again.
