What is the status of End Game PvE?

So, I was away for quite some time and I have been poking my head around trying to find the status on Trials and end game PvE content. Do people still do PuGs for AA, HRC, and SO? More specifically, on the Daggerfall Covenant on the NA PC server.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Hmm, wish ZOS would work to revive it. Trials were a ton of fun back in the day.

After you defeat Molag Bal (which should be the endgame), a bunch of BS ensues.

Well, Molag Bal is kinda the end game for non-vet leveling. I am talking v12+ end game content.

There are only so many times you can level an alt to 50 without being mind numbingly bored - the repeated run V1-14 must be soul destroying for some.

This is the challenge for all MMO's that expect to be viable for years. You have to give players a reason to stay, and a reason to keep spending money.

Sadly ESO designers clearly made single player game when it comes to absolute most of pve content. With MMO the design must take under consideration that the content will be repeated many times and the QL issues while leveling are very important.

The game used a design of an older MMO called Darkage of Camelot. Basically PVE is for leveling you up to get you ready for the AVA endgame in Cyrodiil

That is a shame, I am not a major fan of PvP, and would rather do Trials (aka Raids). I had my hopes up with Craglorn, but it seems ZOS abandoned it. Maybe Murkmire, if it hasn't been canned, won't be abandoned and will have fun Trials that, maybe, will have different difficulty modes for new players and skilled players.

Single player content can be just as "repeatable" as group content. Stick something like Valkyn Skoria in a solo dungeon with a low drop rate and trust me... players WILL do it over and over. Sadly, the devs just haven't been interested in making endgame content for solo players, even though tons of people would love it.

They are still adding things for PVE tho. There is a new zone coming out for PVE, it might be AFTER the next update which is the Imperial City which is mixed PVP and PVE.

It's been dead since about a month after 2.0. Fights are too easy for CP and the scaling post-1.6.

Not a damned thing left in this game is challenging, aside from the crashes and general instability.

Everyone hails this game as awesome cause it doesnt have a WoW gear grind but then threads come out like this and say that endgame is dead and pointless with nothing to do. But hey I guess quitting the game is better than having a gear grind.

Gear grinds and MMOs are pretty synonymous for me. I've never seen a better way to add longevity to an MMO and give everyone something to always be working towards.*

It is way too easy(also way too stale. You know, been like 8 months since even CoA, not to mention other stuff, only so many times you can run it until you get superbored), making it rather boring indeed. Me and a buddy 2 manned all vet dungeons, even with hardmodes, out of boredom. Well with exception of CoA, Valkyn is still a fun fight. And that's at ~200 CP, can't imagine how boring it must be for people with 700+ CP.

CPs? I personally think Craglorn needs dailies these days.
