Lag is ruinin' my 'mershun! A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance - Socrates Member of the Old Guard, keepers of the game's history
The cost for more inventory / bank slots gets pricey very fast. I'd suggest making an alt and using it as a mule before worrying about a better way to make gold.
But you may want to start looking at different trading guilds to make more gold from some of your rare finds.
Do your daily writs and try to up your crafting level asap. "end game" writs give me (on average) around 5K to 30K per day (not taking into account a potential drop of the new recipe pages - I don't have provisioning maxed out yet).
Start to trade. If you're on PC, get some good addons and start buying stuff low and sell high(er). In the beginning your trader might have a starting budget of say 5K. The higher that gets, the bigger the potential profits (and losses). Learn how the market works, how the prices evolve and what items are selling fast.
Don't sell any trash gear. Decon (get xp) and sell the mats and tempers (unless you're saving them yourselves).
I'm assuming you are a low level character which is the roughest when it comes to making Money.
The best way to make money is to Just run quests and kill everything in your path, keep the loot you will actually use, sell the valuables (motifs, tempers, recipes, crafting mats) in your guild store and sell the rest to a vendor.
When selling in guild stores you will need to research prices as well as research what is actually selling. If you want to sell it fast then price it a little cheaper than the average. Don't bother putting low level weapon and gear into the guild store, they will just take up space and sell slow.

And make sure you go to a wayshrine (or travel to player) to fast travel somewhere rather than spending gold to do it (sorry if that's really obvious but I think I was a month or two in before I realised this)
Justice system- pickpocketing and stealing from chests will get you an easy 10K gold in an hour.
If you are high level, the endgame crafting writs pretty much give a guaranteed 5-10k+ gold worth of materials every day and they take no time at all to do.
At lower levels, you get lots of gold by doing the quests, killing mobs, and selling the loot. You *should* be getting 20k gold per zone you complete (so by the time you hit level 50, you *should* have 100k gold available to spend). Sell any raw mats you find except flowers because you won't need them.
Sell items back to the game merchants, or sell to other players, either way & eventually both!
Selling back to the game, usually anything you make yourself is worth more than the raw materials...
so rather than a stack of raw ore or ingots, you make a bunch of daggers, get the experience for making them & then the $ for selling.
Selling to other players, either through a guild or private sales, you have to know what the players want & how much they are willing to pay for it... that same stack of raw materials might sell for more on the open market.
& there are interesting things for sale at the guild traders; small stacks of provisioning ingredients, trait research items, crafting tempers, special armor sets, potions, &&&.... so which kind of merchant are YOU?
Zenithar be praised, good luck getting rich!
