Just remember. All those a******** that are teabagging you or taunting you or making fun of you in this game, you could beat the cr** out of in real life it they tried the same thing. That's why they do it online.
Sure, I'm a sensitive guy and don't do PvP or MMO's for a reason (because the majority of players are immature little pr*** with entitled attitudes and superiority complexes IMO), but, come on guys. I have to agree that it is just a game.
If you've ever been actually bullied in real life - you know, actually beaten up or abused, this stuff is all fluff. It's just words. Sure they hurt, but, they are just words. Move on. Maybe it's because I'm older that I learned a long time ago the whole "Sticks and Stones" thing. Cyber bullying is a terrible thing because you can't get away from it - okay, you can - turn off your dern devices! But it's nothing new. Many of us had the same thing going on, only in person, when we were young (and some of us even today).
Just believe in yourself. Don't worry about what those other haters think of you. It takes a thick skin to survive in this world. People, on the whole, are not nice and do not have your best interests at heart, so ignore them. Just relish the ones you find that actually do!
Pretty sure there isnt a single person that plays this game that could take me in an IRL fight XD

I'm sure this was said a lot in this thread but I just wanted to add that hopefully ppl will grow up,
(and just maybe a little bit I blame the parents. )
Im 32 years old and have a great life with a great career and I am one of the first people to tea bag. Other people around my age have stated a very similar thing so its not age. Its about playing a game and having a little fun. The people complaining about stuff like this are the same people that complain about not receiving "participation awards" or trophies for last place. Grow a spine, you aren't special and the world does not need to accommodate your every need.
I consider tea bagging similar to joking with your buddies if your playing a sport of some kind. It's the same thing as trash talking. It can be light-hearted and in good fun.
In a game when you're on the opposing faction, it's harder to trash talk. So maybe I'll pretend I'm putting my privates on your forehead. We can still be friends.

Oh come on. Not a single person? Not even one?

You do realize that most of the "teabagging" behavior is not directed at your "buddies", don't you? Sure, it's one thing to have such razzing amongst friends, but, when used on someone you do not know and is not your "buddy", it could be perceived as just plain old bad sportsmanship and many of the people who are doing it aren't doing it in "good fun", they are doing it simply to be hurtful. Have you listened to the banter that goes on, even in supposedly affiliated groups? It's pretty raw and inappropriate sometimes.
By it's very nature, ESO as an MMO and in groupings is with strangers, not with "buddies". If we truly consider those folks that we only know online as our "buddies", personally, I think I would need to get out more.
For those offended, I'm curious what the proposed solution would be. The animation being used in the taunt is the stealth animation. Clearly they aren't getting rid of stealth, nor should any restrictions be placed on it being used in quick succession as it impacts actual game play.
Policing such behavior would easily be abused by players simply upset that they died. So, beyond this whole meta-game "your taunt makes my feels hurt, lets step up as a community and shame people for taunting" (which won't happen, clearly people have different opinions on the subject), what would ZOS do for this problem?

Agree, 6'6" former rugby player with a black belt. Still, ya gotta admit. There are other ways to take us big guys down than a fist fight, and some of the weenies know how to use 'em.

Well, I've often thought that a player registry would be a good start at limiting the downside of internet anonymity and absence of consequences. Going in to the details of how that would work is way off topic though but I can totally see how it would work but it requires active participation by game makers.
That still doesn't do anything to reprimand the player in-game beyond "he/she said it happened".

So, basically "sign in with Facebook", more or less? That still doesn't do anything to reprimand the player in-game beyond "he/she said it happened".

There doesn't need to be any reprimand for anyone...its virtual, with fictional and virtual characters...doing a fictional animation....in a make belief world....
This is so damn silly now....close this idiotic thread....

ZOS will step in and punish a player for harassment. My point is that even if a player considers it harassment (note: I do not) there is no way to verify that anything actually happened.

This is beyond sad and pathetic now, let this thread die, there is no reason for it...
You idiots realize how many MORE people are going to start tea bagging now right? Myself included....

Sweep the leg! A good leg sweep has gotten me out of a few situations.

I guess that's my problem for assuming everyone is playing the game to have a good time.

I never get teab@gged by good players. It's always that guy who killed you 6 v 1 and he didn't even get the killing blow who comes over and tries to put you in your place.
And it bothers me, but not because it makes me feel bad, but only because it's a shame that people go through life so delusional.
I never gloat over bodies....ever. Because I consider my level of play to be effective gloating, to be effective trolling.
It's always these guys who rarely win a fight that feel the need to bask in the glow of their rare, fluke victory.
