I'm sorry but it seems like you're projecting your own RL problems into this game and the people playing it. They don't know you have issues. They can't tell. Your character doesn't have a huge sign above its head saying "Player with Personal issues - do not teabag!" How are they meant to know?

It IS a sad fact, and one that I've had to come to grips with myself since taking steps into MMO land - and that is, the anonymity of internet, and games such as this, always tend to bring out people's inner "jackass".

It happens, as sad as it is. If if upsets you this badly, then it's perhaps better to take a step back from the game and leave it alone.

The people do this to other players either think they are being funny or they want a reaction. Try not to let their idiocy interfere with your gameplay. Report it if you can, block what you can and avoid that person. If you need someone to talk to about it, my inbox is always open.

really is there no rule of conduct in this game? If there is and that I see something that I can use to report people like you, I'll go to Cyrodil, I'll get killed sooner or later, I'll get *** on soon enough, I'll do my best to keep my cool and to ask as politetly as I can to stop assaulting me/my character's corpse. If you insist on continuing, consider yourself reported.

There are rules of conduct for the game, but doing stuff like that does not contradict the terms of agreement. It is a thing in all MMORPG's.

Again, it is no slight against you. You are just a bunch of pixels to these people. If I kill you on the battlefield, I don't do it to annoy you. I do it because we are engaged in warfare.

Online bullying is a serious problem in many forms ... it should not be dismissed as a non-issue. Nor should victims of online bullying be accused of being overly sensitive.

Whether "tea-bagging" could be considered "bullying" is another matter, it has been around for years (can be done easily in WoW as well, for example) and I can see for some its part of the online gaming culture of taunting a PvP loser ... but it may well be a very sensitive issue for someone who has been sexually abused in real life. For those who think "tea bagging" is a non-issue, just consider the possibility that another human being may well be adversely effected by the taunting.

For my own experience, I ignore it, however I have had the joy of being ganked in Cyrodil and getting a PSN message (yes I now play ESO on PS4) taunting me for the loss. I can see how some would find that intrusive.

But really, I see what the OP is saying. However the best advice I can give OP, is while I know it's easier said than done..but don't let competitive trash-talk get to ya. That's all it is. It's not personal, they don't know you. Yes people should face repercussions for repeat offenses of harassing others but that also is a tricky area in multi-player games because people could have swarms of people reporting the same person if they disliked them... believe it or not YES that happens in games.

Revenge can be sweet... kill them, or if they are on your team... let them die.... get them back... do /spit emote and then ignore them. Sometimes the best way to fight fire is fire.. despite what we learned in school! hahahaaa Okay, don't really fight real fires with fires, but you know..metaphorically speaking.

Also OP = Original Poster as another said... however it can mean different things depending on the situation.. in this thread it means original poster. If someone says "That set is OP" then they would be saying overpowered. Sometimes people use the "overpowered" one sarcastically, sometimes just for light convo, other-times to complain.

Your pixels were assaulted? What's the matter with you anyway? You woke up today and said you were going to go looking for attention? You're going to report people for doing the /stealth animation on your corpse? As others have said, you should not play any games if these minuscule things grind your gears so easy. It would be better for everyone if you left, especially for you. You must love to cause drama.

Teabagging is one of the most immature behaviors I've ever witnessed in video games and while it doesn't make me run away crying, it heavily discourages me from interacting with that person ever again. It baffles me why people find humiliation funny.

Agreed. On both counts. If I see someone teabagging, then I know that the teabagger is an immature d-bag (unless the teabagee was clearly exploiting). It's not something that's worth getting upset about, though. If that's what the kiddies have to do to feel good about themselves, who cares?

No I woke up today, decided to look up Imperial City dlc and all I see are PvP vs PvE which included the two quotes that started my thread and I realized that despite YEARS of people shoving their balls in people's face and people being "Stop it" and them being "Lol no eat my balls" People either never grew up or they multiplied while the amount of brain cells they had went down.

And for the record, it is harrassment if the person tells you to stop and that you continue anyway. pixels or not.

I have even made friends with a DC guy once because I teabagged him. He got all upset and whispered me about it, telling me how much I suck at the game and that I was an ass hole. After a bit, we ended up meeting up for a duel, I beat him again, but then he beat me twice, and then we had some fun dueling and started talking.

Tea bagging, it's what brings players together.

Also, it's a damn game.

And tea bagging is funny, whether I am doing it, or someone is doing it to me, it makes me giggle like a school girl.

I am not surprised by the level of ignorance in this thread about cyber-bullying and the lack of respect for other human beings, it reflects the reason why cyber-bullying is rife, casual acceptance and ridicule of victims.

For some it can be shrugged off, for others it is not so easy ... and its NOT just an issue for children.

It's too easy with the illusion of internet anonymity.

When it comes to teabagging and the like, I generally only do it to people I know, or fight a lot in games. It becomes a fun sort of "hehe, I killed you!"

The same goes when it happens to me. Random dude A teabags me, I think "Meh." Dude I know or fights me a lot teabags me "Oh! That dirty dog! I'm so going to get him for that!"
