PvP problems that need addressing asap

So I'm assuming a thread or 2 of these have been made in the past, but I'm making my own personal list of what I feel needs to be addressed to improve PVP experience. In no particular order (All these issues are for PC/NA server)

LAG: It is ridiculous in Azura Star (NA), I feel this is one of the main issues that will cause people to rage quit the game. If a fix can't be found for it, just remove the abilities that cause it to break from the game? (Meteor, banners etc). If no-one can use them, it is then fair and if it fixes the problems until they can be properly fixed, great.

SIEGE: They continuously bug. Sometimes you place them and you can't get on them, other times the green arrow disappears and they shoot at the floor (This bug is extremely bad if you're running 2/3 siege at once, it becomes pointless to do so if you lose the arrow).

CAMPAIGNS: The introduction of different point scoring methods is an interesting one, but not one that will imo increase enjoyment / something different. I'd rather see campaigns split up based on champion points.

Example:

1 (Non vet) : No Champion points apply
2: (Vet - 7 days) Maximum of 100 Champion points only apply to characters
3: (Vet - 14 days) Maximum of 250 Champion points
4: (Vet - 30 days) Unlimited number of champion points

If this system can't be deployed, perhaps in each campaign have those champion points scaled so they're less effective / basically non-existent.

I know many players with veteran characters that create new characters to play non vet. 1 reason is an advantage over the other players (bad for introducing new players to the game), 2nd - they don't want to be one-shot sniped from stealth from someone with 500 champion points in veteran. I've NEVER got the concept of having champion points in non-vet. Most new players are not even aware of the champion point system until they themselves vet out.

Also, I know everyone can gain champion points, but the game play should not be based on whoever plays more is the better player, it should be whoever is more skilled is the better player.

    Campaigns which limit CP could be interesting.

    I fully agree with that they should be removed from the non-vet campaigns. Players with alts have enough benefits here already without giving them the CP bonus.

    Otherwise I personally am still not convinced that this great CP divine and power level exists. I think the changes in the base game mechanics with 1.7 will help bring situations under control more.

    Also another "bug" of mine is the reward system. You get the same amount of gold playing in a 7 day campaign as you do a 30 day campaign... The reward should IMO relate to how long the campaign is.

    honestly, I play in Azura' have 100 people on my screen during double scrolls runs, and Im fine most of the time lag wise, yeah my game crashes from time to time, but Im back on within 2-3 minutes and right where I left off usually. I agree it can be fixed, but Im not sure removing two of the better moves for a healer and mage is the answer, especally considering the effort required to obtain meteor in the first place.

    as for the siege weaponry, Ive yet to have the 'arrow dissappear' or not be able to enter my siege equipment, unless someone else snags it from me like a noob, while im rotating during reloads on another piece of machinery.

    And removing the champion points, cmon now, this game is about grinding and leveling, it's bad enough level 20s and 30's can last against V14's, we don't need to handicap players for being dedicated, and hardworking. You want champion points, get grinding, PVP is not the place to grind for XP or Champion Points, it's a place where the best geared, and best developed characters can go to test their power. Easy fix, don't allow Veterans to join Normal Campaigns, that way, if they want to complain, it's no one but their own fault for joining a Vet Campaign.


    The real issues are perma stealth nightblades, while attacking, interacting, or reviving.
    Perma CC cuz the game cant decided which to break
    Sorcerors lightning dashing 300 meters across the map in 6 seconds with basically no mana cost
    Cold Fire/Harbor Siege equipment with no firing, reloading, or projectile animations, aka Invisible death.

    lag is going to be coupled with your internet connection, time of day, ISP, all that stuff. I lagged on PC Hard, but on console, I barely notice frame rate drops unless they'res a good 100+ on my screen for extended periods of time

    You forgot to mention the loading screens that pop up when you get to a keep/resource' or crowded battle. Why don't they design something that makes u invulnerable to damage when a loading screen pops up. It's frustrating to get the loading screen and coming back to being dead.

    I get your point about rewarding hardcore / dedicated players but your point falls flat on its face. Some people have Jobs / families and other commitments to work towards so just because they put less time into the game grinding wise/PVE, why should they be punished? If I only have 2-3 hours a day to play the game and want to PVP it leaves little time to grind to catch up with everyone else.

    An easy fix to this is create a veteran server that uses zero champion points. This means you can log on and play as much as you can without being one shot sniped for all of your health by someone with 5x CP than yourself. By all means keep a server for unlimited CP so people can show them off.

    I know for a fact a zero CP server would be pop locked all the time and Zos should not mind that.

    Although I would not play it myself, I think a campaign that didn't use CPs would be a good idea.
