PLEASE HELP BUG WITH MOONLIT PATH QUEST

So I'm at the beginning of The Moonlit Path quest. I just entered the portal into the realm and we spot a ghost. My companion tells me to follow it, my quest objective is follow the path. Okay? Well apparently my path doesn't know how to follow its own path because halfway through it appear to fall off the ledge and now my quest pointer just points inside of a rock. My ghost path went full *** and is now like noclipped or something. Is there any command to like reset a quest? I've searched around and this bug doesn't seem to happen very often. It's very frustrating because its my last quest left. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Have you tried going to where the ghost will be trying to lead you to see if you can progress?

Given that this quest has been bugged for the entire life of the game .. many bugs at different points, not just this one .. and ZOS usually take WEEKS to even try to fix it (I suffered the "mobs don't attack" phase bug last June/July) if that doesn't work I'd suggest you Abandon and re-take the quest and hope the ghost isn't drunk next time.

Hey thanks for the response but the ghost is literally invisable or inside of a rock. I just wish there was a way to like "reset" a quest. I've had a couple instances where my quest NPCs dont even appear despite the arrow tracker. It's really a shame and needs a fix. There shouldn't be achievements in a game that cannot possibly be achieved.

The issue has been resolved on the PC but is currently occurring on both consoles. It will be fixed in our next incremental patch. We don't have an ETA to share just yet, but when a date is available we'll be sure to let everyone know.
